Brides of North Texas magazine, web and electronic resource is a 100% local mission concepted by Kami Huddleston and Ashley Bowen Murphy, publishers, who faced a void when planning their own weddings with the absence of other real weddings to turn to for inspiration. It’s a fact – brides are inspired most by the weddings of other real brides and by getting a priceless glimpse inside those weddings and a close-up look at the talent of local professionals that the bride relied upon to service her every need and desire. With this clear and simple concept, Kami, a graphic designer and creative genius, and Ashley, a business and marketing guru, joined forces to fill this void and create nothing short of a top-notch product – unmatched in quality and unprecedented in the number of real weddings showcased – that connects brides and businesses together via print, web and electronic sources and serves as the ultimate wedding resource for local brides.

Alli Vaughan wished planning her wedding had been easier. Not that she didn't LOVE her wedding...it was the most amazing night of her life. But trying to plan a wedding and graduate from college, it would have been nice to have such a helpful resource like Brides of North Texas at her fingertips. Journalism has been Alli's passion since becoming involved with her high school newspaper. During her four years of college, Alli spent many late nights in the newsroom of The Daily O'Collegian working on various aspects of the newspaper, including designing and editing. She is grateful she can use her love of editing and her degree in journalism and broadcasting to be part of a magazine, web and electronic resource that will help future brides like her.
