Joyce and Brad met at a church get together at Cowboys Red River. The two were instantly drawn together by Brad’s elaborate two-stepping skills and Joyce’s outgoing personality. As their relationship progressed, the couple decided to not tell each other “I love you” until they both knew they wanted to spend the rest of their lives together.
One chilly November night, the two were out on a casual dinner date. After complaining of a long and cold day, Joyce was ready to get home; however, Brad had more memorable plans in mind. As they got into the car, Brad romantically handed Joyce the first letter he had ever written to her. Joyce, unknowing what the letter would lead to, pointed out the fact that Brad had left out his closing and signature. Brad finally explained that the closing to his letter was three beautiful words: “I love you.” Then he pulled out a gorgeous ring and proposed!
The couple will be married at Royal Lane Baptist Church this fall. Their wedding theme is traditional, simple and elegant, with the colors navy, blush pink, fuchsia and gold. Congratulations to Joyce and Brad! And thank you Allen Tsai Photography for the adorable engagement photos!
