We just adore the Almost Married couple captured by John Christopher Photographs! If you don’t already receive the newsletter monthly, be sure to sign up online! You’ll have a monthly eNewsletter jam-packed with inspiration delivered straight to your inbox. Check out Jacqueline and Andrew's sweet story below!

For Andrew, it was love at first sight when he saw Jacqueline singing one day at a church the two mutually attended. After Andrew pursued Jacqueline, they began dating through their senior year of high school but decided to go their separate ways during their first year of college. However, Jacqueline and Andrew remained friends and thirteen years later, they were reunited and rekindled their relationship in 2008!

In 2010, Andrew proposed to Jacqueline in Kansas City while she was completing her residency. They were on their way to a restaurant when Andrew got down on one knee in the middle of Union Station and Jacqueline said, “Yes!”

The two are ecstatic about their elegant May wedding being coordinated by Significant Events of Texas. The ceremony will take place at Holy Spirit Catholic Church and the reception at the Old Red Museum in Dallas. Congratulations Jacqueline and Andrew!

Thanks to John Christopher Photographs for sharing these fabulous photos of the happy couple!

Neutral Wedding Tones

Neutral Wedding TonesWe love the idea of keeping things simple and subtle with neutral tones! Greys, taupes, browns and champagnes are a beautiful color combo, alongside a stunning bride in white or ivory! Dress your maids in these neutral tones with any of these gorgeous bridesmaid dresses. We adore this Bill Levkoff number with sparkle bodice available locally at Bridal Boutique in Lewisville, Texas. This taupe dress from Jim Hjelm Occasions bridesmaid collection with plunging neck is lovely, available locally at De Ma Fille in Fort Worth, Texas, or Stardust Celebrations in Plano, Texas. Or, opt for either one of these elegant Monique Lhuillier bridesmaid gowns, like this long, grey halter or this champagne strapless dress with cinched bow at waist, line carried locally at Bella Bridesmaid in Dallas or Stardust Celebrations. Don't forget to dress your maids with some fabulous accessories! We love these Jimmy Choo peep toe heels with metallic stone embellishment. Have them carry this exquisite Mary Frances clutch and let them wear beautiful accessories, like this Bauble Bar fringe cuff of Kate Spade pearl street necklace in neutral tones. Enjoy!

Vows that Wow No. 10 – Charlotte and John

Vows that Wow 10

As we continue with our Vows that Wow coverage – an exclusive grouping of North Texas weddings hand-picked by our editorial team to grace the pages of the next issue of Brides of North Texas magazine, we couldn't wait to share this splendid soiree at Union Station this past Winter shot by DFW wedding photographer, Andrea Polito Photography. Charlotte and John are both University of Texas grads and enlisted the help of DFW Events to make their dream wedding come to life! The bride looked stunning in this Alvina Valenta wedding gown from Stardust Celebrations and her beau and groomsmen were dressed to the hilt by Culwell and Son in Dallas. The Garden Gate provided all of the beautiful florals and Beyond made the venue come to life with soft lighting throughout! Wolfgang Puck catered an unbelievable meal to the couple's 400 guests and the bride's aunts and uncles and cousins surprised the couple with a flash mob during the reception! A beautiful, classy and fun-filled evening and we can't wait to share more in our Fall/Winter 2012 issue of Brides of North Texas magazine to be released in August. Until then, enjoy the preview from this fabulous wedding above! Cheers!
