Photos by Sarah Lanette Photography

The Big Fake Wedding Dallas is always one of our favorite events, and this year was no exception! This new and fun alternative to a bridal show is a must for any bride-to-be.  Rather than the typical booth style show, a full-scale wedding ceremony and reception is brought to life for a real couple, but “wedding guests” are brides-to-be who have the chance to see a behind the scenes look at the preparation that goes into executing an amazing wedding. Attendees also get to mix and mingle with vendors who they could directly see contributing their skills to the show. This perfect fall event last month was themed “Berry Tone Thanksgiving” and was absolutely dreamy!

And… don’t miss the next Big Fake Wedding Dallas happening Thursday, March 23, 2017, at the fabulous sixty five hundred!  Visit Big Fake Wedding online for more info!

Wow Your Guests with Colorful Decor From The Color Condition

Friday, September 9th, 2016

Who said weddings had to be white? Wow your guests with a colorful streamer installation from the talented team at The Color Condition! Partners of this one-of-a-kind company, Sonny and Marianne, find their inspiration from color, patterns and wind in its natural motion. Their “streams” are beautifully crafted from common household items including table cloths, shower curtains and painters drop cloths, and the results are stunning!  Depending on the environment, the streamers have so many different qualities, characteristics and moods. The Color Condition team thrives when their installations are used as extreme focal points and can take any event from drab to fab. Some of our favorite scenes to incorporate this as a backdrop is at the altar, entry way or at the cake table. To find out more about The Color Condition or to book them for your event, contact thecolorcondition@gmail.com. Cheers!

Brunch with the Brides of North Texas Revealing the Fall/Winter 2016 Issue

Friday, August 12th, 2016

A few weeks ago, we hosted our semi-annual Brunch with the Brides in honor of the best of the best in the DFW wedding industry to celebrate the release of the all-new Fall/Winter 2016 issue of Brides of North Texas. Every time we have the opportunity to get together with our incredible partners, we are in awe of the talent and dedication that this community puts into the creation of the magazine – the very heart and soul of what we do! We’re so grateful!

The brunch was held at and catered by the amazing Brookhaven Country Club in Farmer’s Branch, and believe us when we say they know how to treat their guests! With the help of the extremely talented ladies at A Stylish Soiree, guests enjoyed an elegant, yet festive tropical-themed morning complete with flamingo decor, frozen Fireball piña coladas and amazing fare. Sage Fine Flowers designed beautiful floral centerpieces for the tables and guests were able to leave with adorable tropical cookies and cake pops courtesy of Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery. Thanks to Propmaker Luxury Event Rentals and POSH Couture Rentals who dressed the event so beautifully and to Cleggraphy Designs who created the most adorable menus, signage and “Let’s Flamingle” installation at the entrance of the club! Darling By Elle helped members of the Brides of North Texas team look their best providing makeup for the event. Of course we have to send a HUGE thanks to Stephanie Brazzle Photography for capturing all of these amazing details so we could share with all of you!

Until next time, cheers from Brides of North Texas and enjoy the new issue!
