With so many North Texas wedding venue options, it can be daunting trying to choose the perfect location for your style, vision and budget. We’ve put our heads together to share just a few of our favorite wedding venue options for each style of soiree to help with your planning. First up – Rustic venues!

1. The Orchard – Hidden in a quiet corner of the DFW metroplex just 20 minutes northwest of Fort Worth is The Orchard, ready to serve as the perfect backdrop for your special day. Whether you are planning a small intimate gathering or a large extravaganza The Orchard will meet your needs. The reception hall can accommodate guest counts from 50 to 400 and opens onto a large covered patio, beautifully landscaped lawn and a gazebo that is perfect for outdoor ceremonies.

2. Rough Creek Lodge & Retreat – Located in Glen Rose, Rough Creek Lodge, is not your typical ranch-style wedding venue. Rough Creek Lodge blends casual luxury and rustic elegance throughout the space. Say your I do’s in the 1800’s-style authentic white chapel or under a natural canopy of old oak trees in the Grove. The Lodge’s rooftop space, Great Room and a Back Terrace are also available to make planning each event space from ceremony to cocktails to reception easy for all involved!

3. Big Sky Event Hall – A new venue to the North Texas area, Big Sky Event Hall is nestled on a 250 acre family-owned ranch in Royse City, just 25 miles east of Dallas. This rustic, elegant space an outdoor ceremony location – a pier overlooking the pond, and a spacious indoor area perfect for the reception of your dreams!
 
4. Thistle Springs Ranch – Set amidst the native wildflowers, lush cedars and roaming thistles of Central Texas, Thistle Springs Ranch is located in Cleburne. Whether your backdrop is the antique windmill, historic dairy barn, roaming horses or a sunset over the lake, Thistle Springs creates an ideal setting to make your wedding dreams a reality. The vintage, provincial barn constructed of reclaimed barnwood, antiqued tin and classic elements will create the perfect ambiance for your rustic wedding.

5. The Wildcatter Ranch & Resort – Wildcatter Ranch is a fully functioning Ranch, Resort and Spa at the foot of the Texas Hill country with magnificent views from every angle.
