Almost Married – Amanda and Tristan

Amanda’s parents actually fell in love with Tristan before she did! Tristan worked at Starbucks, and Amanda’s father went every morning. The two quickly became fast friends. When Tristan began interning at Amanda’s church, Amanda’s mother got the chance to meet him and just knew Amanda and Tristan were perfect for each other. Amanda’s mother casually mentioned it a few times, but since Amanda was about to spend the summer in India the timing wasn’t exactly right. However, when she came home from India, she and Tristan crossed paths again and the rest is history!

Tristan knew for a long time that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Amanda, so on March 29 he took Amanda out for a romantic picnic in the park. Amanda noticed how fidgety Tristan seemed, but still had no idea what was about to happen! He brought his guitar and serenaded Amanda with a song he wrote about their relationship and ended the song by saying he wanted to marry her. He then knelt to the ground and presented Amanda with the ring of her dreams! After she said yes, the couple had a wonderful celebration with their friends and family.

Amanda and Tristan will tie the knot in August at Ashton Gardens. Congrats Amanda and Tristan and thanks to Dyan Kethley Photography for sharing their adorable engagement photos!
