For their big day, Courtney and Dee Jay wanted to give their guests a DFW experience with West Texas touches. The bride had a very specific vision of her guests dining in a clear tent with hanging greenery and cafe lighting. From there she wanted to mix classic details with garden floral accents to create a warm and inviting environment. The couple hired wedding planner extraordinaire Jen Rios of Jen Rios Weddings to bring the bride’s vision to life. “As the planner and designer, it was our job to make sure all of the pieces fit perfectly together to make sure week-of installation went smoothly,” said Jen. “We worked with Courtney in every aspect to make sure the thread of her design was cohesive in every element from floral, place settings, linens, rentals, cake, paper, calligraphy and more.”
Everly Alaine designed beautiful lush, garden inspired florals for the day. The bride’s loose but still classic style was showcased by incorporating greenery and fresh pastel blooms with touches of cotton. The head table featured amazing pieces from Posh Couture Rentals with printed napkins and hand-tied bread place cards as a beautifully composed design. Culinary Art Catering served up delicious cuisine, and Cleggraphy Designs created hand written pieces for the reception, providing whimsical and personal touches. Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery designed an incredible cake that complemented the theme, and lounges from Coral Lane and lighting from Beyond added to the cozy feel of the reception.
“I felt that our wedding was sophisticated and graceful, but also entertaining and joyful! I really wanted to combine a formal and important life event with the fun of a night out with friends,” said bride Courtney.
Courtney was absolutely stunning in her gown from Bridal Boutique of Lewisville, and her maids were lovely as well in their gowns from Bella Bridesmaids. The Styling Stewardess created the perfect hair and makeup to complete the stylish bridal and bridesmaid looks.
We are blown away by the vision of Courtney and the incredible work these DFW wedding vendors did to bring this sweet couple’s dream day to fruition! For more from this classic garden wedding, flip to page 191 of the current issue of Brides of North Texas. Cheers!
