A bright studio setting and a boho air plant as the central inspirational focal point create modern serenity and simplistic beauty of this intimate studio styled shoot from Lyons Events! Elements of a few different styles, from boho to feminine classic, flow seamlessly in this serene and calming aesthetic. Acrylic stationery by Lyons Paperie set the tone for a modern and simple setup, while the scene was completed with a sleek table, laser-cut white chairs and mod accent pieces. A striking diamond ring from The True Gem Company is understated yet wows, just like the bride’s insanely gorgeous natural makeup by The Styling Stewardess. For the bride who loves modern, bright designs with a touch of organic and boho details, this “modern serenity” styled shoot sure fits the bill for inspiration!

From the planner: “The inspiration for this shoot all began with an air plant. Their shape and color serve as such inspiration. Incorporating this plant into a more romantic color palette gave it a very serene and modern feel. Katie Bug Florals created an asymmetrical installation that was equal parts bohemian and modern. The way she composed the flowers to seem as if they were climbing and reaching as if they were naturally occurring on the stands. She also used the Japanese flower arrangement of Ikebana on the centerpieces. To balance the density of the ceremony arrangements, the Ikebana requires intention in design, as every individual bloom is seen. The dress from Elizabeth Leese reflected both the bohemian and modern vibe with the top portion being completely lace, with a silk train. Crumb and Kettle created a cake that had both square and round tiers – a nice balance to the shoot. Lyons Paperie created acrylic invitations and menus to create a modern, yet simplistic design.”
