A little girl’s fairy garden served as the inspiration behind this whimsical romance editorial in the Spring/Summer 2018 issue of Brides of North Texas and we are elated to share all the girlie-meets-boho beauties from this shoot! Planner, designer and stylist Jade Batangan from Events by Jade wanted to convey feelings of magic throughout the shoot, using deep colors and loose florals by R. Love Floral to add touches of whimsical romance. The bride’s flowing tulle skirt on her gown from Lovely Bride, paired with a boho braid and lavender spinel and diamond ring from The True Gem all helped to bring this fairy tale to life! We’re in awe of her gorgeous hair and makeup by Grand Slam Glam and the incredible hanging cake by Sugar Bee Sweets. The lace icing detail on it is simply stunning! Firefly Gardens was the perfect spot for a modern yet rustic look, while furniture and decor from Beautiful Event Rentals and tableware from Top Tier Event Rentals created an absolutely perfect feminine tablescape. We’re swooning over the bright fuchsia table runner, dark purple napkins and candlesticks and that gorgeous floral centerpiece! So much color to love, and it doesn’t stop there – the invitation suite from Cleggraphy Designs combines the jewel-toned color palette with gold accents and fanciful design to tie everything together and set the tone for this sweet soirée, all captured beautifully by Alba Rose Photography. Be sure to scroll down to read more about the planner’s inspiration! Cheers!

From the planner, Jade Batangan from Events by Jade: “My inspiration came from my little girl playing in her fairy garden. I wanted to create a magical garden that would be perfect for the bride that wants a touch of boho, but mostly a fun magical wedding. I LOVED the idea of incorporating crystals into this design. It’s always fun to think outside the box with details. When you see the pictures, I hope you are overwhelmed with magic and love.”

If your ideal wedding style falls somewhere between timeless and trend-conscious, look no further than this modern classic table setting from Tami Winn Events for an abundance of tablescape inspiration! The super sleek, modern backdrop of the Omni Fort Worth Hotel was the perfect host for this swoon-worthy setup with its sleek outdoor space, framed by the blue-green tint of the glass windowed building. Tracy Autem Photography captured the magic of the luxe table setting and all of the delightful details that brought it to life. Combining a tasteful mix of contemporary decor pieces with polished classics, the team took a giant lucite table and dressed it with two giant, midnight blue anchor end chairs, a neutral colored rug and mosaic-like yellow gold stools, all from Beautiful Event Rentals, to create a statement, eye-catching look. To mix up the neutrals, Tami’s team used a color palette of blue hues ranging from sky to navy, along with pink, red, ivory and copper-colored accents. Towering floral arrangements of roses, tulips and hydrangeas in classic ginger jars were the ideal centerpieces to bring a bit of old-fashioned glamour to the setting. Posh Couture Rentals provided each place setting with a mix of blue patterned plates and chargers, all topped with custom designed menus and place cards from Paper Planet. Of course, the most delightfully delicious standout elements of this shoot was the stunning tiered cake from Creme de la Creme Cake Company in a mix of a striking blue and gold floral print paired with a layer of mosaic gold detailing for one swoon-worthy treat. We’re still obsessing over every detail! Cheers!

From the planner, Tami Winn with Tami Winn Events: “My inspiration for this tabletop was a mix of modern and classic styles. I love the use of mixed metal tones so I incorporated gold, silver, bronze and copper into the details. The gorgeous blue tones played perfectly off of the glass of the venue!”

“Something to eat, something to drink, something salty and something sweet… and of course, a whole lot of personality,” is the key mantra to gift guests with the ultimate greeting according to The Welcome Box! This Dallas-based brand was born out of a stroke of brilliance by Silver Lining Events‘ very own Elizabeth Landry after her natural knack for finding the greatest in locally-sourced goodies was shared and demanded by a list far exceeding just her roster of clients. Since 2016, Elizabeth has been working with couples far and wide to learn everything about their likes, interests, tastes and style, tying in elements to personalize their boxes with treats relating to anything from their favorite vacation locales to their choice cocktail or drink.

Using the couple’s responses to a detailed questionnaire, Elizabeth and her team get to work by jumping in the wedding theme first and foremost, followed by a unique mix of items based off of their responses to create the perfect welcome gift to get guests into the spirit of the weekend! This often includes custom maps, designed weekend agendas, sips and mini bites that tie together perfectly with the overall setting of the weekend. The team creates a prototype to be approved by the couple, and then delivers the boxes to guests’ hotels prior to their arrival to ensure the best in “true southern hospitality” and start their weekend off with a sweet thank you for their attendance! To see more from The Welcome Box, be sure to check out their Instagram profile and secure your own set of boxes! Cheers!

With a strategy to sprinkle a bit of softness into a remarkably sleek backdrop, we love the vision behind this modern organic wedding altar inspiration from Lindsey Zamora Events! The team worked with Allen Tsai Photography and a roster of some of DFW’s most sought-after wedding vendors to bring this prairie chic scene to life. Playing up the uniquely contemporary elements to the outdoor garden area of F.I.G- Fashion Industry Gallery, acrylic ghost chairs in an amber hue set the ceremony scene, along with the actual altar made from a geometric copper structure from Coral Lane. High top tables from Posh Couture Rentals were outfitted with grey linens neatly tied with greenery and a sprig of wheat, used widely throughout the setting in arrangements and decor created by The Greenhouse 817. We love the way Lindsey’s team seamlessly tied in the warm and delicate neutral color palette into every element, including the simple blush-hued invitation suite from Golden Greys. Even the model bride’s look had a touch of sweetness with a soft rosy cheek and light pink lip by Brittany Jones Hair and Makeup, the perfect complement to her wispy feathered off-the-shoulder column dress from Patsy’s, A Bridal Boutique. We can’t get enough of this seriously fresh shoot! Cheers!

From the planner, Lindsey Zamora with Lindsey Zamora Events: “Juxtaposition is a way to my designer’s heart! I wanted to add a bit of softness, so I selected a color palette of wheat, rose, light gray and grass. Along with the color palette, the modern architectural details of the venue and rentals were softened by incorporating a loose and organic floral design. Creating and styling intimate vignettes of bridal accessories, paper goods and cocktail setting completed the overall concept.”

Combining bold, eye-catching hues with unique design concepts, we’re over the moon for this styled shoot from our Spring/Summer 2018 issue packed with modern glam wedding inspiration from Weddings by Stardust! An interior designed with worn, white exposed brick walls to complement the giant outdoor elephant mural made Brake and Clutch Warehouse the ideal setting to bring the artistic vision of the shoot to life! With the help of Andrea Elizabeth Photography, the team brought together a beautifully conceptualized scene that showcased bold yet moody romance in every image. At the center of the shoot, the Stardust team created a tablescape that perfectly combined edge with glamour using a color palette of poppy fuchsia and black, starkly contrasted with the bright white table and acrylic ghost chairs provided by Coral Lane. Immediately catching the eye is the larger-than-life floral centerpiece created by 21 Parc Floral and Events consisting of greenery and carefully placed yellow roses to serve as complements to the dripping upside down display of deep pink roses. The over-the-top glam tablescape played up gold touches for an extra bit of pizzazz in the glass and serveware, all provided by Top Tier Event Rentals & Staffing. For a bit of sweetness, The Jenny Layne Bakery created three uniquely complementary cake designs to showcase the best of the overall theme. Mixing prints like black and white stripes with lace overlay patterns, marbling and even agate rock brought a fresh and modern feel to the classic tradition! Of course, we have to mention the model bride and her gorgeous blush full-skirted tulle gown from Stardust Celebrations, complete with a chic side-swept braid created by Grand Slam Glam for a refreshed take on an updo. We can’t get enough of this gorgeous shoot! Enjoy!

From the planner, Devan Moorehead with Weddings by Stardust: “I was going for a moody, modern glam with an artistic glare! The fuchsia couch from Coral Lane was what I set the entire inspiration around. I knew I wanted something bold to be a focus, and that couch was the perfect fit! The art on the outside of Brake and Clutch Warehouse made for a statement setting.”
