When dreaming up the Spring 2015 Watters Brides collection, designer Vatana Watters drew inspiration from the art, music, architecture, and romance of Venice – think classic silhouettes and luxe fabrics with Old World charm. Ornate and intricate embroidery with metallic beading recalls Gothic and Moorish architecture, while hand-placed lace appliqués are reminiscent of frescos and mosaics from the Byzantine Era.
