We couldn’t wait to share this gorgeous design from North Texas wedding cake artist Delicious Cakes, captured by Dyan Kethley Photography at Hickory Street Annex! See what cake artist Nicole East has to say about this beautiful three-tiered wedding cake!

About the Design:
Our design was a three-tier, all white, pearlized fondant cake. The top tier featured a bouquet of gumpaste white roses on top and on the sides were hand-piped roses and leaves with royal icing. The second tier hand a band of small, medium and large silver and pearl dragees (edible pearls). Using a pair of tweezers, I individually placed each drag to form a type of border band around the cake. The third their was a my favorite part! Using strips of fondant I twisted, curled and pressed them together to form rosettes in different sizes around the whole bottom of the cake. This cake was elegant and had a Victorian feel to it. The rose and pearlized shade of white is perfect for a winter wedding!

About the Artist:
I love meeting excited couples who are so in love they can’t stop holding hands or hugging during our tasting! It’s so precious and reminds me that we are doing more than just making cakes. We are making someone’s best day of their life just that much sweeter.
