North Texas brides, you’ll love meeting local wedding planner Jen Rios of Jen Rios Weddings! Jen offers sophisticated planning and design for the southern bride. She began her professional career as an interior designer, but when she planned her own wedding several years ago, she realized that was her true calling! Jen truly believes “love is in the details,” whether that’s decor or logistics. She’s truly passionate about all things wedding-related and loves forming a real friendship with her brides, too, and getting to know them on a personal level so she can make sure their day accurately reflects who they are.
“My goal is for your guests to walk into your wedding and know without a doubt it’s yours, because they know you so well and see pieces of you in every thread running through your wedding day,” Jen says. “I approach planning with design in mind. Logistics are important, but design is what makes your wedding stand out and really reflect your story.”
Jen doesn’t personally gravitate toward any one style and makes sure to adapt to each individual couple when it comes to choosing a style direction. However, she considers herself to have a generally “less is more” approach. “My aesthetic is thoughtful, approachable, genuine and fresh. I feel like that can be adapted to any clients design style for an overall beautiful result.”
A Favorite Styled Shoot

“This shoot was designed with a moody aesthetic but there is still a romantic softness to it that I feel is really beautiful,” Jen says. “I was inspired by still life art and wanted to bring that to life through this tablescape. I love the use of fresh fruit and darker tones while keeping it light and fresh.”
A few trends Jen is really loving? “Bringing in natural details like greenery, marble, wooden elements and fresh fruit. I’m loving clean neutral color palettes with pops of subtle color. Also I’m loving brides’ willingness to take risks and show their personalities with food trucks instead of a seated meal or cotton candy carts instead of wedding cake.” We couldn’t agree more!
Real Wedding Love

Says Jen about this special wedding day: “One of the things I loved most about this wedding is the soft and clean color palette. The lavender and rose tones really popped against the clean white space of Dove Ridge Vineyard. I loved the mix of elements that made the somewhat traditional design a little more unique with the mix of metallics, fresh fruit, lush garden floral and lavender and herb details.”
As you can see, Jen Rios Weddings curates beautifully designed and thoughtfully planned wedding days. To inquire with Jen or to learn more about her services, be sure to check out her Brides of North Texas vendor profile!
