Cooper Hotel Conference Center & Spa provided the perfect space for this backyard-inspired summer styled shoot, with a gorgeous oak tree creating a natural canopy. The lustrous full blooms by Petals Couture make a statement with the suspended piece, tabletop and bouquets. Along with a wide variety of colors, these charming blooms have a unique combination of florals that tie together alluringly. The bright yellow chairs and lavender pillows from Coral Lane correspond delightfully with the florals. The delicate detailing presented in the place cards, invitation suite and calligraphy are created by the talented Cleggraphy Designs. Stardust Celebrations allows the model bride to shine in her elegant embellished gown, while the bridesmaids’ gowns are simple and lovely. Lip Service Makeup styled a simple waved ponytail hairstyle and classy makeup look for the model bride and bridesmaids. It’s hard not to fall for this whimsical, eye-catching shoot!
From the planner, Laura Hendricks of Weddings by Stardust: “Shades of yellow, oranges and peach are some of the most beautiful colors found in floral, so I started there for color inspiration. I think yellow is one of the most understated colors in nature! Following that, I wanted to pair it with a color that didn’t look too ‘varsity’ – yellow and blue/navy/green – which is how I landed on the lavender color. Using the tree on property created the perfect setting to add to the existing beauty of the venue. I love how the yellow pops against the natural background. This was a light, crisp look that was exactly what I was trying to create in an outdoor setting.
