The Ostreum made the perfect vintage venue for this modern and eclectic wedding filled with Gatsby glam! Melinda and Andrew embraced the unique style of the industrial wedding venue, designing a wedding that seemed straight out of a 20s speakeasy. AM Linen Rental and Warehouse Rose Events emphasized the industrial vibe with edgy decor that we absolutely adore. Seriously, your jaw will drop when seeing these incredible tabletops! From black velvet tablecloths to the neon signage, all styled be the expert Maxwell + Gray, we are officially in awe. Despite all the rich colors and moody magic, Melinda wanted her wedding to have some romanticism, and we think she accomplished just that, especially with the tall wicking wax candles! We are absolutely swooning over Kate McLeod Studio’s blush and bordeaux blooms. The bride wore a minimal, timeless wedding dress for her ceremony, then changed into a glittering gown with a layered skirt (perfect for twirling) for her reception, while her bridesmaids wore all different colors and patterns. The groomsmen wore bow ties with their tuxes – the groom’s made of pheasant feathers – while his buddies wore black velvet. Read on to find out why the Royal Dukes Band was this couple’s favorite wedding vendor. Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. Gatsby, whoops, I mean Mr. and Mrs. Crites!

From the bride on her dream wedding maker: “Our favorite part of the evening was dancing and letting loose with our band, the Royal Dukes Band. But specifically, our first dance! The Royal Dukes Band was an absolute blast; they really delivered on the funky 70’s music we love. With The Ostreum being that of a modern speakeasy, we wanted our guests to feel like they had entered a swanky exclusive club in a different era!”
