Amanda Walker and Timothy Spencer’s Fall Ranch Wedding Captured by Tracy Enoch Photography
SWEET BEGINNINGS: Amanda and Tim met at work, and for a while, both secretly had a crush on each other. Tim would keep candy at his desk so that Amanda would come by to see him. Tim’s plan worked. They started dating, and when Amanda was transferred to Savannah, Georgia, for work, Tim moved with her.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: The proposal came on March 28, 2015 on a trip to visit Tim’s parents’ house. When Amanda walked into the house for dinner, she wasn’t expecting a room full of people, much less their entire families. Quickly, Tim was down on one knee. Family is important to the couple, and it was so special to share the moment with them.
THE SETTING: The wedding was completely outdoors. The ceremony took place under a beautiful arbor that Tim built as a surprise for Amanda. The arbor is now the entrance to their garden and will forever be a piece of their lives. The reception took place under a canopy of string lights.
HUES SHE USED: They chose colors that fit the vibe – a fall wedding on the ranch. Amanda loves lush, organic florals, so she partnered with Leslie at Everly Alaine Florals to create a color scheme that was in season and matched the overall theme.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The first look was such a private, beautiful moment. Whenever Amanda thinks about the look in Tim’s eyes when he saw me, it gets her every time.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: A week before their wedding, Amanda went to her father’s land, his favorite place, and foraged greenery. He passed away from cancer when Amanda was 15, and she wanted to include him in their wedding. Leslie at Everly Alaine Florals transformed two truck beds full of branches into greenery garlands at every table. Amanda feels forever grateful for Leslie going above and beyond.
