Audrey Snider and Mark Trifone’s Romantic Art Deco DFW Wedding Captured by Jeff Brummett Visuals
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Mark was flying to Africa for six weeks and it would be the couple’s last weekend together for a while. They had a busy weekend planned, starting with a dinner date Friday evening. After dinner, Mark said he needed to stop by his sister’s home to get his phone charger from the backyard. When they arrived, Audrey was greeted with beautiful lights strung, candles lit and a camera flash. Audrey’s dog, Mimi, rushed to her side wearing a T-shirt that said “Let’s be a family!” Mark then got down on one knee and asked to spend forever with her. As soon as the ring was on Audrey’s finger, the couple’s family members gathered in celebration with a champagne toast!
THE SETTING: Audrey and Mark held their wedding at the Hall of State, a National Historic Landmark located in Fair Park. Built by the State of Texas for the 1936 Centennial Exposition. The Hall of State is the best example of Art Deco architecture in the state.
GET HER LOOK: Audrey’s strapless bridal gown was elegant and classically simple. The sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice were figure-flattering and created a beautiful streamlined look. A fishtail train completed this sophisticated and modern gown. She also wore a Cirque Veil with a hand-sewn organza ribbon hem. Perfect for a free-spirited bride, Audrey’s lattice lace topper was accentuated with a V-back and finished with a beautiful row of buttons.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Audrey’s dad grew up working on a tobacco farm in North Carolina, so there was a Sabino, with The Cigar Roller hand rolling cigars during the cocktail hour and dinner. Additionally, David Carr, Jr. wowed guests during cocktail hour with his distinctive sound, a refreshing blend of contemporary jazz combined with a funk and R&B flair.
VENDOR LOVE: Audrey couldn’t pick one favorite vendor because she had such an amazing team. All of her vendors were wonderful to work with!
