Leigh and Evan met their freshman year at the University of Texas. They both were at a date party for her sorority and he tried to dance with her. Leigh didn’t know him, so she spun away, leaving Evan alone in the middle of the dance floor! This silly encounter lead to a great friendship before they began dating.
Leigh was looking forward to an afternoon with her best friend when the surprise proposal got set in motion. When her friend picked her up, Leigh noticed she had a letter marked #1. Confused, Leigh discovered the letter was from Evan, and he was sending her to three places around town where loved ones and friends were waiting. The last stop of the journey led her to a beautiful lake where he was waiting. Evan said a bunch of nice things and popped the question! Afterward, he took her back to his parents’ house where all of their friends and families were waiting to celebrate!
