SWEET BEGINNINGS: Casey and Chris had the same mutual friends through college and somehow never met. They finally met at the event Low Hoop just a few months before Casey’s graduation from Texas Tech University, and have been inseparable since.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: On April 19, 2015, Chris and Casey were looking at houses after being together for five years. On their way to a tour, Chris received a call from his roommate asking him to run by and let the dogs out. Casey entered the house and was instantly surrounded by balloons and flowers and a ring. Chris also had an engagement party planned at Woodshed, a restaurant in Fort Worth, later that evening with all of their close friends.
HUES SHE USED: Casey and Chris were inspired by the natural colors of the lake where they were to be married, and decorated in hues of white and pale pink with gold accents and greenery.
PRETTY PAPER: Casey worked with Clara Doyle of Goldie Design Co. to design her invites. Casey wanted elegant but fun invites with water color. Clara outdid herself, and created the most awesome map for the suite. She also made welcome bags and notes for the wedding.
DARLING DETAILS: The table numbers were the addresses from the houses Chris and Casey grew up in. Each table had an illustration of the house. The head table was “Birchman,” the new house they bought together just after the engagement.
