Megan Tam and Dylan Powell’s Wedding at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth

PERFECT PROPOSAL: Dylan’s family planned an elaborate story of a belated Easter dinner with his grandparents in Downtown Fort Worth. Dylan and Megan had wanted to see the Fort Worth Botanic Garden, so they planned to go exploring before dinner with family. They wandered through the rose gardens to the picnic area where Dylan had his mother, sister and a photographer secretly waiting. The pair has always been sentimental about their “firsts” together; Dylan said the sweetest speech about the firsts to come for the two of them. It was a day they’ll never forget!

THE SETTING: The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth was the perfect canvas to commemorate their celebration! The wedding colors complemented the space beautifully. Megan and Dylan absolutely loved the Modern and could not imagine having their reception anywhere else.

SAVVY STYLE: The couple’s day was filled with modern touches. Megan and Dylan wanted to add modern elements while also blending traditional features. Their plum purple, lavender, silver and white color scheme complemented their blending of styles and themes perfectly while accommodating for the venue’s look. Hues of white and silver and purple looked striking in the chapel. Megan’s bouquet was a beautiful blend of plum purple, lavender and white to complete the theme of the day.

VENDOR LOVE: Tami Winn was a godsend. Megan and Dylan could not imagine what their day would have been like without her. She was crucial to their family timelines and making sure they were able to incorporate their personalities into the big day.

SPECIAL TOUCHES: Megan and Dylan loved their seating chart and table signs. The table names were sentimental to both of them, whether it be where they met or their dogs’ names. The table signs were acrylic frames with beautiful white calligraphy.
