Mallory and Price met in the CEAT scholar’s Introduction to Engineering class and a close friendship blossomed. They had a great time attending a date party together but Price was immediately put in the friend zone for the next few years. The summer before their senior year they had a blast during a class trip to Japan but Mallory was still hesitant to accept a date because she didn’t want to risk their friendship. Just before school started back up, Mallory admitted that she had developed deep feelings for Price and they began dating soon after.

While taking senior pictures together on campus, Mallory joked that it would be the perfect time to propose. They made it to Theta Pond, the place where they had their first date, and Price got down on one knee. Mallory thought he was kidding until Price pulled out the engagement ring. They finished the night taking engagement pictures followed by a surprise party with their closest friends and family.
