This Trendy Terra Cotta Reception Was the Couple’s Elopement Announcement!

Photography:

For John and Jessica, the ideal wedding was something small from the get-go. So, pre-pandemic, this trendy couple eloped alone in Sedona, Arizona. The two hiked at 4:30 a.m. in the pitch dark to the top of Cathedral Rock and married during the sunrise at 6:30 a.m. Afterward, they held a reception to announce their marriage to family and friends, and we could not be more smitten with this trendy terra cotta reception. Just a heads up, you should probably be prepared to save these inspiring images from Opal & Onyx Photography to your Pinterest boards…

Located at Brik Special Events Venue, Jessica and John planned an industrial, boho-chic party with a ton of ivy and trendy details. But before we get ahead of ourselves, we must mention with the modern terra cotta wedding invitations from Hazelwood Paper Co., replicating the opulent theme for their October announcement day between the pops of teal and calligraphic touch. Upon entrance, a Pinterest-worthy, desert diva picture of the couple’s elopement sets the scene and matches virtually every detail this couple and their vendors implemented. In front of the ivy-infused brick wall, a long rectangular wooden table with pillar candles, terra cotta colored napkins, Estelle colored glasses, mini pampas grass and gold silverware mix together to create a bohemian setting. A “light my fire” neon sign from Warehouse Rose Events hung to the side, adding to all the trendy touches of this bohemian scene. Once the party got started, the bride and groom sat amongst their guests, under party lights, in the boujee-est boho wicker chairs. The bride, Jessica, looked stunning in her long-sleeve gown, heart-shaped earrings, “bride” hair barrette, loose up-do pony and pop of fiery red lipstick. And surprise: the bride herself is a makeup and hair wedding vendor, so she did her own look. Seriously, we could go on and on about this wedding, but there’s no need when you can see for yourself. If you want “Moore,” check out the gallery below, and cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Moore!

From the bride on her favorite wedding day memory: “The best memory is my first dance being with our two kids!’
