Emily and Andrew tied the knot with a modern wedding with bohemian flair at the Nasher Sculpture Center. Dusty rose and pink tied together in bohemian details while gold and white accents kept a modern feel. Greenery throughout the Nasher Sculpture Center created a beautiful backdrop for couple portraits and the sculpture was a fun, modern alternative to a traditional arbor. Emily’s bridesmaids stood by her side in dusty rose gowns from Bella Bridesmaids and the groomsmen adorned navy suits.
“We wanted to intermix rounds, lounge, and communal tables to create a fun, lively, mingling reception for our guests. Being in the events industry, we wanted to stray away from a traditional seated or buffet dinner with a head table, escort cards and the whole nine yards. Andrew and I truly just envisioned creating an atmosphere that spoke to our personal style but welcomed guests to dance the night away!” the bride said. The lively reception would not have been complete without a photo booth from LeForce Entertainment. “Our guests said that it was an evening filled with vivacious energy that could be felt throughout the entire garden,” Emily said.

From the bride: “One of the most special memories of the evening is when Andrew and I got on stage with the band and he sang Piano Man by Billy Joel. At first we were on stage, then all of our friends and family locked arm-in-arm in a circle on the dance floor and every guest was singing the song in unison. We hopped off stage, stood in the middle of the dance floor, and Andrew’s family joined us. We embraced one another and danced. I was overwhelmed with joy and love in this moment and truly felt blessed to not only marry my best friend, but to have such wonderful friends and family.”
