Now married, fur parents Alex and Jon first met in the sweetest spontaneous way! They had both been living downtown for a few years, and both frequented the same hotel bar, but had never run into each other! One night after work, Alex wanted to relax and planned to take her husky, Monte, to the park before going to a different local bar for a drink. On their way back from the park, however, Monte had other plans. He dragged Alex into the hotel bar that Jon just happened to be sitting at, and the rest was history! Talk about man’s best friend! Finally, the two were married in this fabulous French garden wedding with so many sentimental details and a stunning string-lit reception. Alex is a vision of bridal beauty in a romantic off-the-shoulder Rue de Seine sheath gown from a&bé bridal shop and a fun, punchy pink lip. Tablescapes were perfected with towering floral arrangements from Root + Bloom Floral Design in sweet shades of lavender, blush, eggplant and baby blue. They even made a collar of greenery for Monte to look his very best at his fur parents’ wedding! Read on to hear one of the bride’s favorite wedding memories about walking down the aisle. Cheers to Alex and Jon!

From the bride: “Jon walked down the aisle with my husky, Monte, and when my dad gave me away, Jon gave him Monte, and then I walked down to ‘I Will Follow You Into The Dark’ by Death Cab For Cutie.”
