SWEET BEGINNINGS: Connor and Ben had many mutual friends in college and got to know each other through them. A few years later, Ben ended up working at Connor’s church in Dallas. They started dating and were inseparable from then on.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Ben proposed to Connor on the 4th of July, Connor’s favorite holiday. Connor thought Ben might propose a few weeks later when they would be on vacation in Colorado, so she was totally shocked when he got down on one knee while they were watching fireworks and proposed.
ORGANIC BOHO: Connor wanted a soft, romantic color scheme with a rich hue. The color scheme was completely inspired by Connor’s boho bridesmaids dresses, one of her favorite details of the whole wedding. They chose dust berry colors in vintage plum, mauve and reds for their organic bohemian wedding.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: While Connor has so many amazing memories from the wedding, the moment that stands out to her was actually a moment she shared with her father before the ceremony. The entire wedding party had gone down the aisle and was lined up for the ceremony, and Connor was left alone in the bridal suite. Finally, her father joined her in the bridal suite and they were able to share a few of the sweetest moments before their walk down the aisle. Her dad spent those few minutes telling the bride how beautiful she looked and how proud of her he was as she fought back tears.
VENDOR LOVE: Connor and Ben agree, their photographer, Jessica Welshans of Jessica Gold Photography, was amazing to work with. Ben and Connor were very particular about the look they wanted for their photos, and from the moment they met her, they knew they were in good hands. Jessica was a blast to work with, but was also extremely professional.
