Searching for a Pacifier and Found a Proposal
Dionte and Dani met in 2016 at a bar in Fort Worth and discovered a shared history from seventh grade onwards without ever crossing paths. Their relationship began with a simple car date, marked by deep conversations and soft music. Over eight years, they’ve weathered a pandemic, welcomed two children, Dakota and Delaney, and bought their first home. Dionte proposed in their living room on New Year’s Eve, cleverly using the search for their daughter’s pacifier as a ruse for the surprise. Amidst a quiet night in with their sick daughter and amidst sleepless care, Dani found Dionte on one knee with a ring, turning an ordinary moment into an unforgettable proposal.
