With Valentine’s Day right around the corner, we are excited to kick off our sixth annual “Looks of Love” contest! There is nothing sweeter than reading a love story and seeing incredible photographs that perfectly capture the love a couple has for one another. We absolutely adored our 2015 winners, Kamin and Garrett, captured by Whitney Bennett Photography and can’t wait to see more sweet pictures and stories from Texas couples! We’ll be accepting “Looks of Love” submissions over the next two weeks (deadline to submit is February 4) and will announce our winner on February 12, right before Valentine’s Day! The lucky winning couple will be treated to a romantic dinner date to the restaurant of your choice from Brides of North Texas! Click here to enter the Looks of Love and simply upload a few of your favorite pictures or engagement photos and briefly tell us your love story. For our Wedding Walkthrough feature we’ve hand-picked some of the most beautiful DFW weddings and got the inside scoop from the amazing wedding planners that made these dream weddings a reality. Today we’re sharing Karen and Bradley James’ wine inspired celebration. Hannah Kohler of DFW Events coordinated the unique and intimate sunset ceremony. Rustic wine barrels from The Olive Bench topped with lush florals by Stems of Dallas marked the aisle entry and kept with the Texas meets wine country theme. Exposed wood tables were topped with rich centerpieces in wine boxes, as well as table settings from Posh Couture Rentals. Soft string lights from Beyond created an ambient glow to the outdoor reception.
