How soon before the wedding should a bride host her bachelorette party?
We suggest hosting your bachelorette party anywhere from two to six weeks before the wedding. Getting crazy with your girls so close to the big day can be a recipe for disaster. A hangover and dark circles don’t make for a very good bridal look. Extra planning tip: see if there’s a holiday weekend around that time to snag an extra paid vacation day!

What activities should we have planned?
It’s important to create a unique experience based on your own group. There truly is something for everyone. Gone are the days when every bachelorette party has to include bar hopping and hot pink everything. With favorable weather most of the year in Dallas, girls typically want to get out and enjoy the sunshine. Renting a boat or lounging at a chic hotel pool with a frozen cocktail always makes for a fun time. Also, activities that offer private style bookings have been super popular, and we’re sharing a few ideas below!
Hat Bars Dallas Fort Worth
For an experience unlike any other, a Texas hat bar is a must! Your entire group selects a hat and their favorite accessories (think feathers, scarves, pins, and more!) and an expert stylist will bring it to life. This incredible experience will not only be a highlight of the bachelorette party, everyone will bring home an adorable (and trendy) souvenir to remember the weekend. Flea Style offers hat bars in each of their locations around the metro, and Wild Knox Hattery will come to you with their traveling hat bar!
Best Sweets and Treats in DFW
Looking for a sweet treat that’s organic, certified vegan and gluten-free? You definitely want to hire Girls who Twirl Cotton Candy to bring their cotton candy cart (yes, it’s a thing!) and twirl delicious cotton candy for your group. If you’re looking for the perfect party favor for your bridesmaids, be sure to check out Sweet Joy Bites and their signature Brigadeiros — irresistibly smooth, rich bite-size gourmet truffles. Bonus: they even have spiked options perfect for a bachelorette party!
Dallas Fort Worth Unique Drink Service
Searching for a way to make the weekend extra special? Bring in a unique bartending service and save your pouring skills! Bubbles and Brews Dallas will come on-site with their vintage Piaggio Ape and its unbeatable on-tap prosecco and craft beer bar. Want to surprise the bride-to-be with the best coffee after a long night out? Tierra a Taza Coffee Cart will help you treat the entire squad to some caffeine goodness!
