Tis the season to look fabulous, but between the frigid weather, late nights and stress, the holidays can sometimes wreak havoc on our skin! We enlisted the help of our trusted North Texas wedding beauty pros to give us the scoop on getting swoon-worthy skin just in time for your festivities. Read on for their expert tips and tricks:

You want to drink plenty of water and get as much sleep as you can. I recommend giving yourself an at-home facial the night before a special event. First, cleanse your skin, then exfoliate with a scrub in a circular motion. Rinse and follow up with a toner. Next, apply a generous coat of a hydrating mask or a collagen sheet mask. These mask options are suitable for all skin types and will help soothe, deeply hydrate and rejuvenate your skin. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. Apply a few drops of Vitamin C serum to help revitalize, regenerate and brighten skin. Finish with a moisturizer suited to your skin type. – WZ Beauty Studio

Hydration is key! Make an effort to exfoliate 1-2 times a week followed up by a great moisturizer and undereye cream. The more hydrated your skin is, the more flawlessly your makeup will apply and last throughout the day. I love Mac’s fix + hydrating mist before and after my makeup application on days where my skin needs a little extra love. – Beauty By Yari

With frigid temps, indoor heat (so drying!) and too many holiday parties, your skin could use a little extra attention right now. Step 1 – drink plenty of water and reduce your caffeine intake to minimize dehydration. Step 2 – ensure that after your nighttime cleansing, you slather on a hydrating night cream (I like Garnier Miracle Sleep), use plenty, massage it in well and let it work while you log your zzz’s. Step 3 – use a collagen boosting sheet mask twice a week (my favorite is Dr. Jart’s “All That Contours”) for hydrated and glowing skin. Sheet masks are so easy to use! Just pop one on and then relax for 20 minutes…no mess and no rinsing necessary. Follow these easy steps and your skin will glow all season long. – Jennifer Trotter of Lip Service Makeup, Pro Makeup Artist and beauty expert

Be sure to keep you skin radiant and glowing with your favorite moisturizer. We love Limelight by Alcone ‘Calm Balm – Aloe & Kendi Oil because it is a light moisturizer made of aloe, cucumber and restorative plant extracts. It hydrates your skin cells and is perfect for easily irritated skin. – Grand Slam Glam
