Golden Hour Wedding Inspiration in Sun-Soaked Shades

If simply nothing is speaking to you or finding a wedding theme seems next to impossible, a color coded affair may be the way to go! One of the hottest combos for the upcoming nuptial season is sunshine-soaked golden hour wedding inspiration, and this editorial captured by Sara Boyd Photography at Reflections Venue & Gardens is sure to inspire the bride who is bright and warm at heart. Throw tradition to the wind like this model clad in a whimsical mustard velvet gown from Bella Bridesmaids paired with a chic and sleek bridal bun as well as a subtle smoky eye by the hair and makeup experts at Brite Beauty. A modern, square engagement ring from L’unique Diamonds and Fine Jewelry perfects her look, and its double halo and three diamond bands assure she will drop jaws everywhere she goes. Sunset shades have never looked better in this floral design perfect for all seasons –parrot tulips, peonies, butterfly ranunculus and copper beech are among blooms arranged by TR Floral for pure petal perfection. A tablescape adorned with amber glass, simplistic flatware and gilded decor from COHOST sets the tone for a lovely meal and reception to come and menus are among the pretty paperie designed and hand-lettered by Lonestar Letter that adds an organic touch to this affair. Finally, a towering, three-tiered textured cake from Ashton Marie Cakes is the nontraditional cherry on top of everything good in this golden hour wedding inspiration. Read on for a note from some of the talented vendors that brought this vibrant editorial to life. Cheers!

From Bella Bridesmaids“To steal this look, ask for Designer: Jenny Yoo | Style: Madden | Color/Fabric: Marigold Stretch Velvet”

From Ashley with Lonestar Letter: “For this shoot, I incorporated vellum paper overlay. Vellum is so much fun to work with because it can add color and dimension to your invitation suite and place cards without taking away from the design.”

From Ashley with Ashton Marie Cakes: “My inspiration for the cake started with the mood board. I know I could have started with a white or ivory background, however, I needed this cake to reflect my artistic side. I love color and texture, I wanted my audience to know that. I want brides to know they don’t have to have that traditional white cake. It’s ok to have fun with their chosen wedding colors. I wanted the color and the cake texture to pop the most.”

From Ashley with TR Floral: “I wanted to use florals that spoke to all seasons – nothing too bright nor dark. I wanted the main focus to be on the yellow/gold florals such as the parrot tulips, the peonies, the butterfly ranunculus and the copper beech (since it was a ‘golden hour’ shoot). You can never go wrong with a classic peony.”
