Christmas Light Tradition
In 2018, Peyton and I drove around to look at Christmas lights. We stopped in front of one house and it took our breath away. I made him hop out of the car and we had someone take our picture in front of it. The next year we thought we’d make it a tradition. This year instead of hopping out for a quick picture in front of “our house” he pulled into their driveway and escorted me onto the lawn. He told me he wrote a letter to the owners of the house and they were overjoyed to have him propose there after hearing our story. Cars started honking in celebration as he got down on one knee. It was magical!
