Destination Wedding to the North Texas Countryside

Talk about southern charm! Tricia and David had the most elegant, countryside destination wedding in North Texas! Currently residing in California, The Mills’ knew they wanted to slow down from their fast paced life out west and keep things intimate and romantic for their wedding day. For them specifically, that meant traveling to the great state of Texas! By incorporating hints of pale blue, neutral and personalized details, they surely exceeded all of their wedding goals! One significant detail in particular that is especially creative, Tricia had a few of her closest friends and family be her “something blue.”

“I am blessed to have such an amazing group of friends and family. I was not able to have them all in my bridal party however I asked them to be my something blue on my wedding day. I had our florist make them each corsages with blue florals. They were my good luck charms.” How sweet is that! The couple celebrated with sweet treats from Uncle Willie’s Pies and hit the dance floor with LeForce Entertainment. Another detail that was the cherry on top of an exceptional day, was a private last dance to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. The newlyweds were able to soak in every last second of their special day and reflect on all the fun that was had. Overall, Tricia said that their wedding was a true reflection of them as a couple. That’s what it is all about! And thanks to Megan Kay Photography, they can reminisce on the day forever. The Mills charming, countryside soiree surely was one for the books. Cheers to the happy couple!

From the bride on why she loves The Brides of North Texas: “I love how Brides of North Texas made it easy to find local vendors. It made planning a destination wedding extremely convenient. I found our wedding venue while browsing through the magazine, and I just knew it was THE place. I also love all the styled shoots and real weddings they showcase. It gave me so many ideas and wedding inspo. I used it throughout my year of wedding planning. Once my wedding was over, I used the magazine to dry and press flowers from my wedding bouquet which I framed. And now the magazine is nicely put away in our box of wedding keepsakes so I can cherish it forever.”
