This month we featured Nicole and Taylor’s autumn North Texas engagement photos captured by Jillian Zamora Photography. Check out their sweet proposal story below!
Nicole met her brother’s friend Taylor on an early morning in high school. Taylor was getting pulled over in front of Nicole’s house for speeding – quite a first impression! Little did she know, this was the day she would meet the man she would spend the rest of her life with. Nicole spent the entire day with her brother and Taylor and remembers laughing way too hard and having butterflies in her stomach that would never go away. They knew by the end of that day that the two would be seeing a lot more of one another.
Taylor over planned an incredible trip, as he always does, to New York City — one of Nicole’s favorite cities in the world. On Sunday, the couple woke up and had breakfast, then headed to Central Park. Taylor read of street performers throughout the park, so they thought they’d make an afternoon of watching. As they walked through the park, they came up to The Bow Bridge and Nicole immediately said to Taylor, “Let’s take a picture!” She began to walk across the bridge, and a girl she didn’t know passed me a note. Nicole nervously opened the note which had a quote from “Love you Forever,” a book that had always been meaningful for the couple. In confusion, Nicole turned around to find Taylor on one knee with the most beautiful ring in his hand. It was truly an unforgettable day!
Nicole and Taylor will be married this spring at the Dallas Arboretum with a neutral, pink and gold color scheme. Thanks to Jillian Zamora Photography for sharing the couple’s lovely engagement photos. Congrats to the bride and groom to be!
