We’re thrilled to introduce Jade Batangan of Events by Jade to you today. North Texas brides, you’ll love her Southern-infused, romantic designs and the planning expertise she brings to the table! Jade offers planning and styling services throughout DFW, creating unique and memorable events by combining her old-fashioned values, a passion for planning the perfect party and of course, a love for people. Once upon a time, Jade worked for a Fortune 100 company, honing her management and networking skills for several years – skills she now uses to plan couples’ dream weddings! She believes the magic is in the details and that hiring a wedding planner is one of the best investments a couple can make.
“Hiring a wedding planner early on is incredibly crucial! I can help you do more than just design. I hone in on your vision, budget plan and recommend some great vendors!” Jade explains. “I am passionate about the bride and groom and their vision. I want to get to know the couple and hear their love story from the beginning. I want to bring the couple into their wedding with details, paper products, flowers, etc. I also like to challenge myself to think outside the box. My number one goal is to create their vision but also bring other ideas to the table so they can see all the potential. It all boils down to valuing relationships with my brides and grooms and wanting to create something that is unforgettable.”
As for the look Jade prefers? “My aesthetic is found in the details – anything colorful and all things pretty!” Scroll through the photos below to see Jade’s work come to life via a beautiful citrus-and-sparkle-infused styled shoot as well as an al-fresco Southern wedding.
A Favorite Styled Shoot

“It was a beautiful day, fantastic team of vendors and seamless timeline ― a flawless styled shoot! This shoot had a light and airy color palette that we expanded with a touch of moody mauves and pops of classic pink. I couldn’t pick a favorite detail as I loved everything: the honey whiskey drinks, colorful popsicles, lavish invitations, exquisite lounge, beautiful model and the tablescape overlooking the vineyard at sunset.”
We love how Jade balances brighter colors with more muted tones for a sophisticated yet fresh vibe. Jade is sure to pay attention to wedding trends, while not being trendy. “There are so many new things in the industry that I am loving right now! I love that florals are making a come back in more than bouquets. Don’t get me wrong, I love the simplicity of using just greenery, but my heart skips a beat when I see blooms incorporated in unique areas. I have found myself designing florals EVERYWHERE – in front of cake tables, hanging from the ceiling and creating a large altarpiece. It always amazes me how florals can breathe life into your wedding day! I am also looking forward to the use of color. If you know anything about me, it’s that I love color. I cannot wait to see where color can take it up a notch in 2019.”
Real Wedding Love

“This wedding was so much fun to plan! The couple’s story and how we incorporated it into the details is what keeps it at the top of my list! The groom proposed on a plantation farm in South Carolina so we incorporated pineapples throughout the whole wedding. As a wedding planner, incorporating all the personal touches really set this wedding apart!”
Between the pineapple escort cards and a classic monogram taking center stage, Events by Jade knocked this Southern soirée out of the park! To inquire with Jade about helping make your wedding dreams come true, head over to her Brides of North Texas vendor profile!
