An Elegant and Rustic Dusty Rose Wedding

Photography:

We are tickled pink to share all the elegant and rustic details in Julia and Toby’s dusty rose wedding. Julia and Toby’s story begins as young lovers who met growing up at the same church. Their spark began once they got to high school and began secretly dating for almost eight years. Both Julia and Toby grew up with traditional Indian parents, where dating was not as easily accepted in their households. Julia shared that dating in secret was “challenging, but also allowed us to be creative with dates, gifts, and special occasions. It also made our relationship very exciting and fun.” Once Julia and Toby graduated from college and got their dream jobs, they decided it was finally time to tell their parents. So after ten years of dating and the blessing of their parents, Toby popped the question with a private and intimate proposal.

Toby and Julia planned their dream dusty rose wedding at The Nest at Ruth Farms. Inside their dusty rose reception space, guests found their table number with a seating chart from Bethany’s Letter Shop. Floral arrangements from Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe lined the centers of each table with pink roses and greenery. Guests enjoyed food from HD Liquid Catering and favors from Bethany’s Letter Shop. One of our favorite details of Toby and Julia’s wedding is how they honored their heritage. The coupled changed into traditional Indian bridal attire and shared an American Indian fusion dance to kick off the dance floor. In addition, Julia wore bridal henna on her hands and feet, while her bridesmaids wore traditional Indian lengha and jewelry. It was such a surreal moment for the couple when they got the chance to look out onto their guests, enjoying the night that they had planned and worked so hard for. We love that the couple was able to take in that moment together. In addition, the couple will always get to remember each detail because of Opal & Onyx Photography. Opal & Onyx Photography captured every detail of the wedding so beautifully. Keep scrolling to see all the images in Julia and Toby’s rustic dusty rose wedding. Congratulations to the new happy couple!

From the bride: “Our most helpful wedding vendor, hands down, had to be our favorite photographer Bailey with Opal & Onyx Photography. She was always willing to help and readily available for anything we needed even before our wedding day. We still talk about how thankful we are to have met her and would 100% recommend her to anyone because she is such an amazing person to work with.”
