We absolutely love seeing wedding inspiration from a completely unique perspective, and this wanderlust inspired styled shoot by Katie Frost Weddings was just that! Inspired by the colors and terrain of Big Sur in California, a love of travel and a love of dogs, of course, this bright and cheerful editorial gives us all the happy vibes and incorporates so many unique and personalized elements throughout. Illustrated Weddings by Lola Lorena blew us away with hand-drawn sketches and watercolor details on the invitation suite, which uses hues of dark blue and pops of yellow to set the tone for the rest of the scene so beautifully captured by Andrea Elizabeth Photography. A mountaintop-inspired altar from Coral Lane and copper tabletop accents from Posh Couture bring metallic elements into the aesthetic, while florals from Kate McLeod Studio both brighten and soften the look against the white backdrop of Firefly Gardens. A cake reminiscent of the sea and sky designed by The Butterfly Cake Factory sits atop suitcases in front of a hand-calligraphed sign reminding us adventure awaits! The model bride, in a boho gown by Lovely Bride with a matching boho braid and bold pout from Lip Service Makeup and diamond ring from The True Gem, is joyful to be with her groom, wherever life takes them. Cheers to wanderlust, adventure and love!

From the planner, Katie Frost of Katie Frost Weddings: “The inspiration behind this shoot was created for the wanderlust bride that loves bohemian vibes but equally loves the convenience of city living. Inspired by the terrain of Big Sur, I wanted to bring in coastal vibes with a mountainside twist.”
