HUES SHE USED: Jill and Aaron’s wedding was modern with a traditional twist that incorporated hues of dark gray, gold and coral. Jill has always loved dark gray and gold together, and was inspired by her dress to throw in coral.
GET HER LOOK: Jill walked down the aisle in a stunning Carolina Herrera gown with a hand-sewn rose print custom addition on the skirt. While it wasn’t actually a wedding dress, once she saw it on the runway, Jill knew she had to have it. Thankfully she was able to find the dress that inspired so many elements of her wedding at The Bridal Salon at Neiman Marcus.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: The bridal bouquet was artfully constructed with peonies, orchids and tulips. Jill used a beautiful sash from her late grandmother to bind the bouquet.
SPECIAL TRADITIONS: The ceremony performed at the wedding was written by Jill’s great-grandfather and had been used for many family members’ weddings.
SAVORY SWEETS: The delicious wedding cake was designed to mimic the bride’s geometric wedding gown.
SPECIAL TOUCHES: Instead of a traditional groom’s cake, Jill and Aaron decided to have a Popsicle cart serving their favorite dessert. The couple also added life-size cutouts of Jill and Aaron in the photo booth for guests to take pictures with!
