Sara Katherine Sharp and Jason Arion Harner can’t wait for their March 10 wedding at the Dallas World Aquarium. The bride is particularly excited about the altar backdrop made of Shoji screens! The happy couple met as freshmen at the University of Texas at Dallas and knew there was something special between them. When Sara returned to school after Christmas break, she was delighted to find Jason had prepared her a gourmet meal. She didn’t realize he had even more surprises up his sleeve that evening. Jason proposed that night and Sara of course said, “Yes!” Congrats to Sara and Jason!

Rustic Preppy Chic

Rustic Preppy Chic Wedding Design shot by Perez Photography

When we were sent details of this fun-filled styled wedding shoot, we immediately fell in love with its rustic woodsy feel, the originality of its details (complete with wooden pistols, turtle shells, antlers and more), yet with a slightly preppy edge! Shot by our friends at Perez Photography, this unique setting of natural elements will have your guests oohing over every designed detail. To give the rightful first impression, the invitation suite printed on wood by We + You (home of Pulp Letterpress), will intrigue your guests and get them ready for an affair they'll remember. The oh-so-creative florals, also by We + You (home of Nest, Floral Studio), definitely set a beautiful scene. The florals were weaved with natural elements like cotton, wheat, acorns and pheasant feathers. Our favorite two elements have to be...the moonshine station and cornbread spread of course! Have you ever?! What more could a girl ask for, you ask? How about this gorgeous oatmeal gown by Watters from Bridal Boutique in Lewisville! (You may recognize our obsession with it from another recent post). Paired with a stylish groom sporting striped suspenders and a vintage bow tie found at The Dolly Python in Dallas, it adds just the prefect amount of prep.  A BIG thank you to We+You for sharing this charming design with us...we're sure to be obsessing over it for weeks!

Vendors involved: Couture Events by Lottie, We + You, Perez Photography, Rent My Dust Vintage Rentals, Bridal Boutique, Serephine headpieces, Stella & Dot jewelry, Dolly Python accessories, Coleen's Cakes, Paigebrooke Farms, Linen Hero and Queen of Crowns Hair & Makeup
