Natalie Cantwell & Taunya Stevens

Thursday, May 19th, 2022

Natalie and Taunya’s modern dust rose, and navy blue wedding at Artspace111 was a magical dinner party soiree under the Fort Worth sky. The sweet couple met at a mutual friend’s birthday party in March of 2020. At the party, Taunya knew Natalie would be in attendance, so she made an effort to find her. The two stayed up all night talking and knew they had something special. Due to Covid, Natalie and Taunya, who had just recently met, were quarantined together, bringing the two closer together. Finally, in November of 2020, on a camping trip at Garner State Park, the couple decided to hike to the top of Mt. Baldy. At the top, exhausted and out of breath, Taunya pulled out a ring from her backpack and popped the question! Such a beautiful moment for the couple!

Natalie and Taunya said, “I do,” with an intimate wedding full of beautiful dust rose and navy blue details. Natalie wore a stunning gown from Bridal Boutique, while Taunya looked chic in a dusty rose suit. Once the couple finished getting ready, they snuck off to a downtown parking garage to take bridal photos. Melissa Claire Photography captured the gorgeous bridal images with the Fort Worth skyline in the background. After saying, “I do,” Natalie and Taunya celebrated with a dinner party catered by Magdalena’s underneath the stars. The guests and the couple enjoyed cocktails from HD Liquid Catering and a delicious slice of cake from Creme de la Creme Cake Company. Natalie and Taunya’s wedding was full of true wedding bliss, and we are so excited to share all the details with you. Keep scrolling to see more!

Natalie and Taunya Favorite Wedding Memory:

“Our private first look was an amazing experience that we will never forget. During that moment, a butterfly landed in Taunya’s hair and remained for what felt like 3-4 minutes. We knew it was a sign that we were exactly where we were supposed to be. It was such an overwhelming experience that even our photographer, Melissa Claire, was completely overwhelmed and feeling the emotion.”

Rachel Connolly & Reid Malloch

Tuesday, May 17th, 2022

The lovely couple Rachel and Reid wedded with an organic and intimate wedding at Bethel Rock. Rachel and her bridesmaids stayed the night at Bethel Rock and woke up with the anticipation and excitement of the day ahead. Their day began with Rachel and her best gals getting hair and makeup done from Brite Beauty. Rachel said, “it was so fun to see how our stylists made everyone look like a beautiful version of themselves!” That’s always the best kind of beauty look! After everyone’s hair and makeup were finished, Rachel’s mother surprised her with a diamond band ring made from the earrings Rachel’s grandfather gave to her grandmother. Wow, how sentimental! At last, when Rachel looked at her finished bridal look, she became flooded with emotions. The day she had always daydreamed about was finally here!

The moment Rachel always cherishes is seeing Reid at the end of the aisle, ready to say, “I do.” The couple’s beautiful and organic outdoor ceremony felt intimate and was an authentic representation of the couple. After becoming the new Mr. and Mrs. Malloch, the couple and guests proceeded into the reception space. Inside, long tables filled the room lined with candlesticks and fresh blooms, making the space feel intimate. Rachel said, “My biggest hope was that our reception would feel intimate, and people would gather together over food and drinks and get to spend quality time enjoying the evening.” The couple definitely succeeded in this and spent the evening enjoying the company of their loved ones and dancing the night away. Keep scrolling to see all the beautiful images the talented Annique Marie Photography captured on Rachel and Reid’s big day. Cheers!

One Thing Rachel and Reid Learned from Planning their Wedding:

“I learned that other than making our wedding day feel authentic to us, it was so important to honor our friends and family. They helped mold us into who we are, and it was a celebration for them, as they have been alongside both of us through everything!”

Laurel Kim & Brian Zhao

Thursday, May 12th, 2022

There’s something timeless about a wedding with clean lines, minimal details, and white blooms. Laurel and Brian’s big day at Davis & Grey Farms gives us just this with its seamless, minimal, and modern design. Laurel and Brian met their freshman year of high school, playing cello in their orchestra. However, it wasn’t until the end of their senior year that Brian asked Laurel on a date. The couple made their long-distance relationship during college work, which led to Brian proposing to Laurel in his parent’s backyard. Laurel said, “I was completely surprised. I distinctly remember telling Brian the night before the proposal (b/c I thought we were just going on a date) to NOT propose to me. But he did anyway, and I, of course, said yes!”

Laurel and Brian’s minimal modern wedding at Davis & Grey Farms is clean, classy, and will never be out of style. Laurel began her day getting ready with her bridesmaids. Tease To Please Hair and Makeup got Laurel’s bridesmaids all glammed up to glow while walking down the aisle. The emotions set in for the couple the moment they both locked eyes on each other. Brian looked dashing in a tux from Generation Tux that we know gave his bride butterflies when she laid eyes on him. After the two officially became husband and wife, it was time to celebrate with food, dancing, and drinks from HD Liquid Catering. The couple’s favorite part of the night was ending it with Taco Bell at midnight. It sounds like the best night ever to us! Keep scrolling to see more details and read a special note from the bride. Cheers!

One Thing Laurel and Brian Learned Planning their Wedding:

“It takes a village. Choosing the right vendor means choosing people who not only offer a great service but also are decent and caring human beings. We couldn’t have gotten to and through the day without our community and our vendors!”

Laura Sebastian & Eric D Murillo

Tuesday, May 10th, 2022

Laura and Eric’s contemporary wedding at Lazy S Hacienda brings an authentic Texas flair. This wedding will make your day with a color palette filled with mauves and greenery accompanied by pampas grass arrangements. Laura and Eric met almost 13 years ago in college. Initially, after graduation, Eric asked Laura on a date, and she said no. However, the two connected over Instagram years later, and Laura finally agreed to go on that date. After two years of dating, Eric got down on one knee and used an episode of The Office to help him out. The two watched the scene where Micheal proposes to Holly when suddenly, a video of Eric begins instructing the two to go outside. Eric set up a romantic spot with candles in the backyard and got down on one knee to propose to the love of his life. How sweet!

Laura and Eric’s beautiful Texas wedding was filled with the people the couple loves the most. Laura began her day getting ready with Brite Beauty. Her effortless bridal look defiantly took our breath away. As golden hour began, so did their outdoor ceremony. The photos Sara Boyd Photography captured of the two during their ceremony are some of our absolute favorites. After saying “I do,” the couple was ready to celebrate with their guests who traveled from around the country. Guests found their seats on mini hot sauce bottles with their names and seat numbers attached. How cute is this! The contemporary open reception space at Lazy S Hacienda allowed Laura and Eric to enjoy time with their friends and family. Because of this, the entire wedding was having so much fun no one noticed the storm that moved in. That’s when you know you’re having a great time! Keep scrolling to see more of Laura and Eric’s wedding.

One Thing Laura and Eric Learned Planning their Wedding:

“Make it a point to try and enjoy every moment. I was stressing about the time and other little things at the beginning of the wedding day, which made me feel stressed and a little upset. However, I made a conscious decision to just go with the flow and enjoy the day with my future husband. You only get that one day, and you want to make the best memories with family and friends. We had a few things go wrong but no one really noticed and we had a blast.”

Kayden Cook & Stephen Dazzo

Wednesday, May 4th, 2022

Kayden and Stephen’s modern rustic wedding at Hotel Drover is full of bright Texas wildflowers and terracotta details. The couple met at Dartmouth College in 2012. “A big Yankee city-slicker,” Stephen fell completely in love with Kayden, “a southern blonde girl.” Throughout their college years, Kayden and Stephen often traveled to Texas and Chicago, meeting and becoming a part of each other’s families. After years of dating, Stephen proposed to Kayden while in Texas, visiting her family. Stephen decided to throw Kayden off by taking her ring shopping on the day of their proposal. Kayden said, “it did the trick, leaving me a touch melancholy while trying on rings knowing that he wasn’t proposing while we were home in Texas.” However, hours later, Stephen got down on one knee in the Dallas Botanical Gardens and proposed. Of course, Kayden said, “YES,” and the two began planning their modern rustic wedding.

Kayden and Stephen hosted their wedding weekend in the heart of the historic Fort Worth Stockyard at Hotel Drover. The couple’s wedding showed all of their out-of-town guests the modern rustic charm of Texas. The wedding festivities began with a ceremony aisle lined with bright Texas florals. Kayden recalls being nervous before the ceremony, but all the nerves left once she locked eyes with Stephen and saw him tearing up. After the couple “I do,” they made their way into the modern rustic reception space. Luxurious details and a rustic charm space created the perfect modern rustic wedding. Posh Couture Rentals absolutely nailed each element, bringing the couple’s dreams to life. In addition, we love the unique seating chart the couple used. Guests found their table numbers on cactus planters at the reception entrance. How fun is this! Finally, if you love this wedding as much as us you’ll want to keep scrolling to see all the images Opal & Onyx Photography captured. Cheers!

Kayden and Stephen’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“The moment I locked eyes with Stephen down the aisle. We were both so beyond happy and felt so lucky to have found each other that neither of us could hold it together. Thank goodness we weren’t ugly criers that day.”

Claire Fitzpatrick & Sanjiv Varghese

Monday, May 2nd, 2022

Claire and Sanjiv’s elegant wedding at The Olana is full of romantic details in blush, ivory, and green. The two who started as friends at work eventually realized they had a deeper connection than just friends. In the summer of 2019, on a trip to Aruba, Sanjiv got down on one knee and proposed. After a dreamlike proposal, the couple began planning their classic and romantic wedding with the help of Julep Events. Their elegant southern wedding started with a bridesmaids’ luncheon at The Adolphus, a luxurious hotel in downtown Dallas. The following day Claire and her bridesmaids arrived at The Olana to begin getting ready in the bridesmaids’ suite. In addition, the groom and his boys also arrived at The Olana early and took full advantage of the bowling alley and basketball court the venue has available. Incredible, right? After soaking up every moment while getting ready with her bridesmaids, Claire changed into a gown from Stardust Celebrations. Claire wore a beautiful princess gown with earrings from Bridal Boutique and a hair and makeup look from Etoilly Artistry. An absolutely stunning bridal look!

Claire and Sanjiv’s wedding took place on a warm August evening. Their officiant kept things short because of the Texas heat but made the couple laugh taking away any stress or worry. After Claire and Sanjiv said their “I dos,” they were ready to party with friends and family. Inside the reception hall, guests were treated to a seated dinner from The Olana. Food was a priority for the couple when planning their big day, especially their cakes. The couple was so in love with all the flavors from Sugar Bee Sweets that they chose five different flavors for their bridal cake and groom’s cake. Claire said, “the food, cake, and dancing were so much fun, and I loved getting to celebrate with everyone who was able to attend.” In addition, Claire and Sanjiv were blown away by their photographer and videographer. Chua Lee Photography made magic behind the camera, while Shawn Yang Films captured their wedding beautifully on film. We are so excited to share all the details of Claire and Sanjiv’s wedding. Keep scrolling to see more!

Claire and Sanjiv’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“During our ceremony, I remember our officiant cracking a joke and making us laugh. With everything leading up to that moment, it’s easy to be distracted by all of the stress and what’s going on in the background. Our officiant was able to bring us to the present so that we could relax and focus on each other.”

Alishia Christudoss & Antonio Zapata

Tuesday, April 26th, 2022

Alishia and Antonio’s fairytale wedding is full of blooming blush roses and glamorous details. The couple began their fairytale story over Twitter after Alishia quoted one of Antonio’s tweets. Fast forward four years, Antonio proposed at the most magical place on earth, Magic Kingdom. While on a trip with Alishia’s family, Antonio landed hard to get dinner reservations at Be Our Guest. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary until Alishia went to take a photo of her mom in the Castle Gallery. However, when Alishia backed to get a better angle, she felt something brush against her leg. When Alishia looked down, she saw Antonio down on one knee with an open ring box. Of course, the entire Castle Gallery erupted in cheers as Alishia said “yes” to marrying her Prince Charming.

When it came to planning Alishia and Antonio’s glamorous fairytale wedding, the couple felt it was important to include both of their cultural backgrounds. Alishia, who is Indian, and Antonio, who is Mexican, wanted to incorporate both cultures while still maintaining the classic wedding style of their dreams. Therefore, the couple included their cultures in small ways. For example, Alishia wore a beautiful and traditional gown from Bridal Boutique for the ceremony. Later, our stunning bride changed into a traditional Indian ivory and gold bridal lehenga at the reception. In addition, a Mariachi played traditional Mexican music for cocktail hour and part of dinner. During dinner, guests enjoyed both Mexican and Indian cuisines. Alishia and Antonio kept their reception classic and glamorous with florals from Something Pretty Floral and decor from Posh Couture. You don’t want to miss the beautiful photos The Lockharts captured of our sweet couple and their glamorous wedding. Keep scrolling!

Alishia and Antonio’s Favorite Wedding Memory:

“My favorite wedding day memory was the private last dance. Those few minutes alone together in each other’s arms, dancing to one of our favorite songs, just really enjoying each other’s presence were truly everything. It was the first real chance to cherish the moment as newlyweds.”

Heather Hutson & JL Bronold

Tuesday, April 19th, 2022

Heather and JL said “I do” with a classic and romantic wedding with soft touches of dusty blue. The couple met their senior year of college at Texas A&M through mutual friends. After Heather and JL decided they were soulmates, the couple moved to Midland, Texas, from Fort Worth in 2019. The two began looking at Heather’s dream engagement ring, but Heather didn’t know when JL would propose. Over Valentine’s weekend, Heather went home to Dallas to visit her best friend because JL “had to work.” Secretly JL planned on surprising his future bride with her dream engagement. Heather and her best friend decided to attend a wine tasting evening. However, when Heather walked into the wine tasting, she saw a room filled with roses, candles, and her man. JL got down on one knee and asked Heather to spend the rest of her life with him. Heather told us, “I just remember saying yes a million times and crying.” How sweet!

On a beautiful September evening in Fort Worth, Heather and JL tied the know in front of their family and friends. Their day began with getting ready in their separate suites. Heather had a final dress reveal with her bridesmaids, who wore dusty blue dresses from Bella Bridesmaids. Heather looked gorgeous in a gown with a show-stopping bow on the back from Bridal Boutique. Absolutely timeless and classic! The couple read their vows before the ceremony began since they could not read personal vows at the Church. Finally, the time had come for Heather and JL to become husband and wife. Heather said, “when the doors opened at the Church, it was an amazing feeling. A feeling that I had been waiting for my whole life.” After Heather and JL became the new Mr. and Mrs. Bronold, the two took the most beautiful wedding portraits with Gaby Caskey Photography before their reception. The couple’s reception space is so classic and romantic, with blooming white florals and hues of dusty blue. The couple and guests partied with Royal Dukes Band and enjoyed a slice of cake from Creme de la Creme Cake Company. We are entirely in love with all the beautiful and romantic details of Heather and JL’s wedding. Keep scrolling to see more!

Heather and JL’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“Gaby Caskey was so amazing and accommodating in any decision that was made. We have known Gaby for 3 years now and she was our first and easiest choice for a wedding vendor!”

Hannah Pierce & Colin McNearney

Thursday, April 14th, 2022

Hannah and Colin’s formal black tie wedding featured nods to their alma mater TCU. The adorable couple met during their freshman year. The two lived in the same dorm and had a psychology class together where Hannah always came to class with a sparkly headband. Hannah’s sparkly headband caught the eye of Colin, which eventually led to a first date. After five years of dating, Colin popped the question in their new home city of Fort Worth in front of the fountains in Sundance Square. Colin insisted the two take a picture before a date night dinner in front of the fountains. A hungry Hannah asked if they could skip the fountain picture and head to dinner. Colin got a funny look on his face, and that’s when Hannah knew the love of her life was about to propose. Colin teared up, got down on one knee, and asked Hannah to marry him. Of course, Hannah said, “yes,” and everyone in Sundance Square erupted with applause. Hannah and Colin got engaged on May 31, 2019, and finally said “I do” on May 29, 2021.

Initially, Hannah and Colin planned to wed in September of 2020. However, due to Covid, the couple postponed their wedding to May of 2021. After being together for six years, Hannah and Colin were eager to say, “I do.” Thus, they finally became husband and wife on a beautiful May evening at Ashton Gardens in Corinth. The TCU alums wanted to add details to showcase the University that brought them together. They called In help from Weddings by StarDust to plan their dream wedding with nods to TCU. The morning of their big day, Hannah got ready with her bridesmaids. After hair and makeup, Hannah slipped into her beautiful sweetheart gown from Lulu’s Bridal. She and Colin did a “first touch” before meeting at the altar. The sweet couple featured a beautiful floral wrapped cross where they exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a cocktail hour featuring cocktails with a nod to TCU. The bartender sent each drink through an ice liquor luge that featured a purple-horned frog decked out in frozen glitter. So fun! The bride called her French 75 drink a “Riff Ram Ba Juice” while the groom called his Whiskey Sour “The Horny Toad.” Go Frogs!

Hannah and Colin’s reception featured dazzling floral arrangements with hues of Horn Frog purple. Guests enjoyed a dinner catered by Ashton Gardens and danced to a 10-piece band and DJ. Talk about a party! The grand ballroom at Ashton Gardens also featured a beautiful ice sculpture with their brand new monogram etched in ice. In addition, a live artist painted the scene of their first dance as guests watched the canvas come to life. Finally, after Hannah and Colin enjoyed a final private dance, they made their grand sparkler exit. With the sound of the horn section serenading them out, the couple climbed inside their getaway car as they waved farewell to their family and friends. You don’t want to miss all the images captured inside this romantic wedding. Keep scrolling!

Hannah and Colin’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“I honestly can’t recommend Weddings by Stardust enough! We tell our friends who are getting married now to hire a wedding planner, specifically Weddings by Stardust, to help them make their dream wedding a reality. This is my biggest advice to any bride-to-be who was like me and has absolutely no idea where to start. I am so incredibly grateful for Laura and her amazing team at Weddings by Stardust – I will never be thankful enough for them.”

Jessenia Trejo & Aaron Holton

Tuesday, April 12th, 2022

Jessenia and Aaron’s modern minimalist wedding at Nasher Sculpture Center is full of soft reds and moody details. The couple met in 2013 on Tinder. Jessenia said she never thought she’d join a dating app in her wildest dreams, let alone find THE one on an app. However, she is forever grateful she joined because she met the love of her life. After Jessenia and Aaron’s first date, they knew they had found the one. The two became inseparable, but Aaron was set to leave for Dubai for three months to play professional golf overseas. Aaron told Jessenia to come with him. At first, Jessenia thought it was a crazy idea. Aaron told her that she hated her jobs anyway and could figure everything out once they got home. As a result, Jessenia took a leap of faith and quit her job to be with Aaron. Jessenia said, “It was the most magical trip of my life. We got back, moved in together, and the rest is history! The craziest, scariest decision I ever made turned out to be the best one.” On February 23, 2019, the stars all aligned when Aaron got down on one knee and proposed to Jessenia. Of course, Jessenia said “YES” to the love of her life, and the two began planning their dream wedding.

Everything about Jessenia and Aaron’s wedding feels very modern, moody, and oh so romantic. We first begin with Jessenia’s timeless gown from Lulu’s Bridal. This gown encompasses what it means to be an elegant and modern bride with clean lines and simple detailing. We are absolutely in love with the entire bridal look. After Jessenia slipped into her gown, she and Aaron united for their first look. Jessenia describes the moment as “we saw each other and said a few private words for just us two. I immediately felt a sense of calm and peace, and I could finally relax and breathe.” Laning Photography photographed the intimate first look moment that we know Jessenia and Aaron will cherish for the rest of their lives. Finally, after the two became one, Jessenia and Aaron celebrated their Mexican American culture with a mariachi band during cocktail hour. After thinking their plans for an outdoor reception were over, the weather finally cooperated for the couple. At last, the rain stopped, and guests got to enjoy a beautiful dinner reception on the terrace with romantic decor and rentals from Posh Couture Rentals. We are so excited to share all of Jessenia and Aaron’s wedding details, so keep scrolling!

Jessenia and Aaron’s Dream Wedding Maker:

“Our photographers, Nick and Hannah Laning, were so calming! We were so worried about feeling awkward and uncomfortable during our bride and groom portraits after our first look and they made the experience so easy and natural!”
