Contemporary Romance Wedding Inspiration from Silver Lining Events + Co.

Straight out of our new Spring/Summer 2018 issue, this pretty in peachy-pink editorial feature from DFW wedding planner Silver Lining Events + Co. is giving us major inspiration for a setting that perfectly depicts a contemporary romance wedding! Chock full of classic red, blush and cream colored roses, along with ample greenery and poppy red exotic looking blooms all from Something Pretty Floral, we love the way the Silver Lining team and Dyan Kethley Photography captured the contrasting elements of feminine pretty and stark modernity in this mashup of gorgeous elements! LaneLove Paper Co. expertly created a scene-setting welcome with a blush, mulberry and custom black and white floral print paper suite to-die-for along side a perfectly prepped set of goodies from The Welcome Box. The stunning Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek served as an elegant backdrop with its classic architecture and traditional decor infused with modern touches. For the table setting, gold flatware, ceramics, crystal champagne glasses from Posh Couture Rentals adorned each seat. Nearby acrylic pedestal tabletops and marble bar from Beautiful Event Rentals brought a current vibe to the dignified vignette. The model bride herself stunned in an elegantly simple strapless gown topped with a floor-length lace cape, both from The Bridal Salon at Neiman Marcus. Completing her look with high glam yet totally easy hair and makeup, WZ Beauty Studio gave her a swept-back tousled ponytail ‘do and and a neutral smokey eye complemented by a warm, peachy glow. To top off the setting sweetness, HoneyLove Cakery created a three-tier all black and floral-embellished cake for the ultimate modern touch! Check out all of the details from this beautiful shoot below!

From the planner, Elisabeth Landry of Silver Lining Events + Co.: “I wanted the design to reflect the rebirth of classic black and white and evoke feelings of hope and modernism. The blooms were in medium arrangements nestled down the center of the table with petite and feminine arrangements popping through, creating the illusion of a floral runner, with touches of rose, mauve and deep elderberry as the color palate.”
