North Texas Planner Profile: Engaged Events
by Kaitlyn March 25
An effortless, timeless and classic style along with extreme attention to detail are what DFW wedding planners Engaged Events consider to set their company apart. We’re excited for you to meet Whitney Bailey, certified wedding planner and owner of Engaged Events. Whitney and her team love nothing more than turning blank spaces into brides’ dream venues, handling all the details and logistics and thinking outside the box to make dream days come true!
Whitney says, “What sets us apart from other planners is not only our experience and knowledge of the wedding industry, but also our extreme attention to detail throughout the entire planning process.” Take a look at some of those very details below, as seen in a styled shoot and real wedding planned by Engaged Events!
A Favorite Styled Shoot

“Our favorite styled shoot was the Garden Ballroom Editorial at The Adolphus Hotel. One of our favorite details from this editorial was the combination of traditional floral mixed with an elevated garden arrangement. We love when designs are unexpected and we felt R. Love Floral saw our vision and delivered perfectly!” Whitney says. As seen in the invitation suite above, Whitney and the Engaged Events gals love a good custom monogram. “One of our favorite wedding trends is creating a custom monogram and incorporating it throughout the entire wedding,” Whitney says.
As for words of wisdom, Whitney always recommends sitting down with your fiancé fairly soon after the engagement to go over the big stuff. “One of the first things we recommend you do as a newly engaged couple is discuss your budget and priorities for your big day!”
Real Wedding Love

“Haley and Hunter’s wedding was one of our favorite weddings in 2018. Not only did we have a fantastic vendor team to work with, but every single detail was thought out prior to the wedding day. My favorite details were the flat lays we styled in their hotel room. We had so much fun styling Haley’s shoes, invitation suite and a few heirloom details that were passed down to the bride,” Whitney shares.
Although timeless is Whitney’s go-to, she’s not afraid to mix it up and help each couple achieve the exact look they love. “I consider myself to have a classic and timeless style, but I’m also not afraid of making a statement with colors, patterns or specific trends!”
