Rachael Lindley and Jake Wilber’s Boho Garden Dallas Wedding by Query Events
SWEET BEGINNING: Rachael went to a flag football game with some mutual friends and as fate would have it, Jake was playing in it. He caught her eye immediately. After the game, Jake walked up and introduced himself. A week later they started dating and have been together ever since.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: On Christmas Eve at Rachael’s parent’s house, Jake suggested they have a ginger bread competition with her family. After the judge announced Rachael had won, Jake immediately started protesting. He took his house over to her and said “I don’t think you looked at mine carefully enough!” She looked down and it read, “Will you marry me?” Jake got down on one knee and the rest is history!
BOHO GARDEN: Rachael said picking the color palette was the hardest part! She wanted florals to play a big role in the theme, so she chose pink and coral with touches of blue to brighten things up. She aimed to create the perfect bohemian garden chic wedding.
MOST MEMORABLE MOMENT: The couple exchanged notebooks with promises to each other during their first look. Jake gave Rachael a diary he had kept for a year leading up to their wedding, one he wrote in daily to explain why he was in love with her. They also loved seeing their reception space for the first time because they felt their vision was executed perfectly.
