Garden Romance Wedding Walkthrough With Grit + Gold

Photos by The Tarnos

Cara and Derek are a fun-loving, vibrant couple who are always on the go and whose festive wedding weekend included a Soul Cycle class and a special surprise shopping trip at Kendra Scott! The expert wedding planners at Grit + Gold truly made this DFW couple’s wedding dreams come true!

“We wanted a fun and beautiful Texas wedding with a wonderful outdoor dinner party and then an indoor dance party to wrap up the night. It was a day I will never forget,” said beautiful bride Cara.

Something Pretty Floral perfectly captured Cara and Derek’s vision of a classically elegant garden-like oasis beneath the stars. Beautifully bright peonies and garden roses in creams and blushes paired exquisitely with delicate greenery accents. A favorite detail was the ethereal head table design. Incorporating unique lighting elements like a floating chandelier, romantic candlelight and exquisite cafe lighting, the bride and groom dined in a picturesque fairytale-like setting. The bridal party wowed in gorgeous gowns from Bella Bridesmaids next to the bride in a stunning strapless look from Patsy’s with a custom veil. The classically elegant invitation suite from Pink Champagne Paper Company incorporated bold calligraphy, luxurious cotton paper and a delicate floral envelope liner.

“From beginning to end, every detail of their big day was a thoughtful expression of their genuine love,” said Jennifer Gardiner of Grit + Gold.
