PERFECT PROPOSAL: Samantha and Nick wanted to do something special for their four-year anniversary, so Nick planned for them to go to the Gaylord Texan Resort to celebrate over the holidays. They were enjoying a bottle of wine on their balcony when Nick got down on one knee and popped the question! It was a very personal and intimate proposal. Although Samantha had a feeling it was coming, she was still very surprised!
WHIMSICAL GARDEN WEDDING: Whimsical garden wedding describes the style of Samantha and Nick’s wedding. They wanted a relaxed and fun atmosphere! The colors were a soft palette of blush, ivory, peach, pink and green, with touches of gold.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Samantha’s bouquet was a gorgeous gathering of pink peonies with dusty miller from Lush Couture Floral. Samantha always knew she wanted a light pink peony bridal bouquet. Her creative mind wanted to use different types of flowers, materials and metals, and she found a way to make it all work together. The bridesmaids’ blooms were an arrangement of dahlias, garden roses, silver dollar eucalyptus, spray roses, peonies, ranunculus, stock, dusty miller, roses and hydrangeas.
SAVORY SWEETS: Samantha’s cake was a three-tiered almond cake with raspberry buttercream filling and a white buttercream frosting in a horizontal design by Sugar Bee Sweets Bakery. The delicious cake featured pops of fresh flowers.
VENDOR LOVE: The wedding photographer Andrea of Andrea Elizabeth Photography was so helpful with creating a timeline for the day while keeping Samantha and Nick on schedule. They were so happy with her and her team. Most of all, the photos were absolutely stunning.
