Courtney Corbeille and David Krauss’ Elegant DFW Wedding
SWEET BEGINNINGS: One night while Courtney lived in New York City, she and two girlfriends went to a bar that is a meet-up spot for University of Oklahoma football fans. Dave, who was visiting for a friend’s birthday, was also there. Before Courtney and her friends had entered the main area, Dave strutted up to Courtney and asked if she was “as bored as she looked.” They ended up conversing casually, and Dave bought her a drink. That drink led to deeper conversation and the two of them never went another day without talking to each other.
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Dave planned to pop the question while they were in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He doesn’t do anything small, and this event was no exception. He spent eight hours setting up string lights and a hidden camera. Upon returning from having dessert, Dave said he needed to check on something, so he led her through the back gate and started telling Courtney how much she meant to him. Confused, Courtney looked to her left and saw the ultimate question stretched out in lights across the fence, “Want 2 Marry Me?” She turned around and Dave was on his knee. Both of their families were waiting and cheered after she officially said yes!
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: The bride carried a lush bouquet comprised of white hydrangeas, white ranunculus, white peonies, Casablanca calla lilies and a variation of white roses crafted by Something Pretty Floral.
PRETTY PAPER: The ivory and black invitations were hand-addressed by calligrapher Megan Clegg. The multiple inserts were held together with a gold bow hand-tied by the bride.
