PERFECT PROPOSAL: On their way to dinner for Jake’s birthday, Meagan and Jake’s friends called to say they were stuck in traffic and couldn’t make it to dinner. Meagan immediately knew what was coming. Jake had planned on proposing during dessert, but they were both so excited that he couldn’t wait. He popped the question before their entrees arrived. Afterward, Jake had arranged a surprise party at the Sundown at Granada where their closest friends and family were waiting. It was an unforgettable night!
THE SETTING: Meagan and Jake’s morning ceremony was outside under the Allman Pavilion at Arlington Hall. They chose this venue because of the beautiful large space. Their guests loved the brunch prepared by Arlington Hall’s catering partner, Food Glorious Food. For the reception, they wanted a whimsical garden party and a great outdoor space for lawn games. Their venue was perfect and accommodated all of their needs.
AISLE STYLE: Meagan was nervous about the long walk down the aisle. She also didn’t like being the center of attention. Luckily, her dad kept her calm and laughing, so she was able to make it down the aisle without a hitch.
AMAZING ALTAR: The couple thought the Allman Pavilion at Arlington Hall was beautiful all by itself, so they didn’t need to do much to decorate it. They softened the look with light drapery, and The Garden Gate prepared two beautiful altar arrangements to frame the space.
PRETTY PAPER: Wouldn’t It Be Lovely created the perfect invitations to wow Meagan and Jake’s guests. The wedding invitations were white with gold foil font accented with blush-colored envelopes and blush belly band.
DELICIOUS DISHES: Meagan and Jake are brunch fanatics! They served eggs benedict, mini chicken and waffles, mini fruit and yogurt parfaits, and a fruit bar. For cocktails, the couple served mimosas and Bloody Marys.
VENDOR LOVE: Their wedding planner, Crystal Frasier, made the day everything they wanted it to be. They couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding thanks to her help! They also were awed by their wedding photographer, Stephanie Brazzle, who captured the entire day beautifully.
