Emily & Jonathon’s Dallas Arboretum Wedding with Intentional, Personal Touches

This wedding weekend was designed to feel unmistakably them—thoughtful, joyful, and layered with intentional Easter eggs from the life they’ve built together.

The celebration began with drinks at their favorite local bar, a nod to the bride’s LSU roots, followed by a pickleball tournament (their shared obsession) and a rehearsal and welcome party at the very place they met. On the wedding day, personal details took center stage: a bar stocked exclusively with their favorite canned beers from brands they’ve helped grow, a deck-of-cards guest book inspired by their favorite party trick, Taylor Swift Easter eggs hidden throughout for fellow Swifties, and a ceremony officiated by one of their closest friends—who also happened to be the boss who first brought them together.

The reception was packed with energy and meaning, from a surprise LSU Tiger Girl performance to a menu that honored both of their backgrounds with jambalaya, fajitas, pizza, and milkshake shots. Family legacy was woven throughout the day as well, with calla lilies like the bride’s mother carried and a sentimental tennis bracelet worn down the aisle—proof that the most memorable weddings are the ones that tell a couple’s story, exactly as it is.
