There’s something special about bringing North Texas’ wedding professionals together under one roof, and this year’s Wed Society Connect was no exception. Set against a beautiful indoor-outdoor backdrop at Grace Manor Events, the morning was filled with meaningful connections, fresh inspiration, and plenty of opportunities to learn from the talented professionals who make our local wedding industry thrive. From colorful florals and beautifully styled details to an incredible panel conversation and plenty of time to connect, it was a morning all about celebrating the North Texas wedding community.
North Texas Connect Event Highlights
A Beautiful Day at Grace Manor Events
This year’s North Texas Connect was hosted at Grace Manor Events, where the beautiful day made it easy for guests to enjoy both the indoor and outdoor spaces throughout the morning. The venue provided the perfect setting for a gathering centered around community, conversation, and creativity.
The event design embraced a colorful, joyful aesthetic that perfectly complemented the energy of the day. Tables were dressed in beautiful floral linens, while vibrant arrangements filled the space with shades of orange, yellow, and green. Bright citrus-inspired details, including oranges, lemons, and limes woven throughout the floral arrangements, added a playful touch and made the design feel especially fresh and fun.
Hosted and planned by Knighted Affairs, every detail came together with intention, creating a welcoming environment. The Elegant Wedding Co. captured the beautiful details and candid moments throughout the morning. Their team also provided professional headshots for attendees, giving guests the opportunity to refresh their business portraits while connecting with fellow industry professionals.
The colorful floral designs by Blooms By Brookie were one of the standout details of the event. Filled with vibrant blooms and citrus-inspired elements, the arrangements brought the space to life and added personality to every corner.
Guests also enjoyed rentals from Loot Rentas and BBJ La Tavola, whose furnishings and tabletop details helped create a polished yet inviting setting. The combination of colorful linens and thoughtfully selected furnishings made the space feel both elevated and welcoming.
Coffee, Cocktails & Sweet Details
As guests arrived, Nightowl Coffee welcomed everyone with a full coffee bar featuring something for every kind of coffee lover. The menu included espresso, cappuccinos, vanilla lattes, smoked caramel lattes, blueberry jam lattes, and chai lattes — the perfect way to kick off a morning of conversation and connection.
Tastefully Yours provided catering for the event, giving guests delicious bites to enjoy as they mingled and caught up with fellow wedding professionals. Shaker Bar & Bev Co. also brought their expertise to the event with their professional bartending service.
And the desserts were just as beautiful as they were delicious. Sweet Boom Bakery created a stunning cake decorated with beautifully piped flowers, along with petite fours that added a sweet and elegant finishing touch. Their desserts perfectly complemented the colorful aesthetic of the event.
A Morning of Connection & Inspiration
One of the highlights of the morning was an engaging conversation featuring Marquise of Marquise Pro, Jordan of Grand Slam Glam, and Stephanie of Stephanie Brazzle Photography. Set in a colorful lounge-style setting, the panel brought together three experienced wedding professionals for an honest conversation about building and growing a business in the wedding industry.
The conversation touched on everything from what they would do differently if they were starting their businesses today to what makes a vendor someone they genuinely want to recommend and work with again. They also shared insight into improving client communication and satisfaction, using AI and software to save time, and continuing their education through meaningful investments in their businesses.
The panel offered plenty of practical takeaways, but perhaps just as importantly, it created space for an open and genuine conversation among industry peers. Attendees were able to hear real experiences, learn from one another, and take away ideas they could bring into their own businesses.
And the colorful energy of the morning didn’t stop at the décor. Attendees showed up in bright, personality-filled looks that perfectly matched the joyful atmosphere of the event. Between conversations, laughter, coffee runs, and candid moments, the room was full of the kind of energy that makes Connect events so special.
Keeping the energy flowing throughout the morning, DJ Matt Blake provided entertainment and music that created an upbeat atmosphere from arrival to the final conversations. Claire Hodges Art created the custom signage and invitations that helped tie the event’s bright floral aesthetic together.
