PERFECT PROPOSAL: Kristen and Jordan had just celebrated her 21st birthday, so Jordan had the idea of a low-key Valentine’s Day at their favorite hole-in-the-wall Italian restaurant, followed by a movie at the theater where they had their first date. Kristen had no idea what was about to hit her! After dinner, Jordan took her to the movie theater and proposed. She was in such shock that she was contemplating whether or not they had missed the previews of the movie and kept saying, “Are you serious?” It didn’t dawn on her that they wouldn’t be watching a movie that night! She was obviously in shock, so Jordan asked if she wanted to tell her parents first. The couple drove to Kristen’s parent’s house where both families were waiting with food and cake to celebrate!
METALLIC GEOMETRIC: Kristen loves neutrals and metallics, and wanted to bring her style into the setting. She went with a sophisticated chic theme, mixed with earthy tones.The Orchard was a perfect blank canvas for this, with beautiful outdoor spaces for photos and incredible natural light. The wedding was romantic and classic with a trendy geometric twist. For her color palette, Kristen wanted depth and beauty infused with several neutral hues that coordinated together for a complete story. She had mixed neutrals, blush, mixed metallics and a heavy influence on charcoal grey as a grounding theme. She also wanted to be sure natural greenery was added wherever possible. They added a geometric element and presented it in a sophisticated, subtle way through the geometric place cards, escort card table, linens, floral centerpieces, table numbers and cake.
VENDOR LOVE: Kristen and Jordan loved working with Jen Rios of Jen Rios Weddings because she was so incredibly helpful! Kristen says she could not have had such an amazing wedding without her. Kristen needed help with making decisions, coordinating all of the vendors, and bouncing design ideas around with someone who could understand her vision. Having Jen there to be in charge of everything on the weeks leading up to the wedding was priceless to Kristen. Jen and her staff were there whenever she needed, and made sure everything stayed on schedule. Kristen was able to enjoy her wedding, talk to guests, dance, eat, and take in every moment throughout the day because she was not worried about vendors, schedules, or where she needed to be at a certain time. Jen Rios made sure Kristen was having a great time, and looking her best the whole time!
