Rustic North Texas Wedding At The Springs | Sabryna + Brady
SWEET BEGINNINGS: In 2013, Sabryna had just moved from Seattle to Dallas. She and Brady were on a double date at a frozen yogurt place, but funny enough, she was paired with his friend and he was paired with hers. The whole time Sabryna hardly said a word to either of the guys and they left thinking she was totally stuck up. Shortly after the date, Brady left on a two-year mission trip to Ecuador, and Sabryna became good friends with his best friend. Brady got sick and had to come home a year early from his trip. When he got back, the two started talking, and after his surgery, Sabryna weant to his place to watch a Harry Potter marathon. He was drugged up on painkillers and was super out of it. He held her hand and leaned in while she was turned away making her think he was trying to kiss her. She spun around, planted one on him and said, “You missed,” thinking she was being cute. He admitted he wasn’t trying to kiss her and said, “But I want you to do it again.” After that, they started dating, and the rest is history!
PERFECT PROPOSAL: Sabryna was on her way to the top of Reunion Tower in Dallas to get a lens for a friend – or so she thought. When she stepped out of the elevator, Brady was standing there in the middle of a heart made of rose petals waiting to propose.
VENUE: Poetry Springs is so pretty! The outside area is covered with gorgeous greenery and trees. The walkways, fountain and details on the outside of the building, like the seating and lighting, add a special touch to the surroundings. The interior is spacious and warm with stonewalls and chandeliers. It’s the perfect combination of rustic elegance.
BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS: Sabryna’s bridal bouquet was her favorite. Their florist, Raquel of R Love Floral & Events, used coral peonies and added white dahlias, blush pink garden roses, and shades of ranunculus to the mix as well as a silver dollar eucalyptus for a handpicked feel.
WEDDING MEMORY: One of the most memorable moments from the reception was when a bunch of Sabryna’s sorority sisters stole her away and brought her into her bridal suite for an unofficial “drop ceremony.” In their sorority, they hold a drop ceremony at the chapter meetings before someone gets engaged or is about to be engaged. Since Sabryna didn’t get a chance to have one at their chapter meeting, they recreated one for her.
