All White Winter Wedding Decorated with Modern Elegance

Friday, December 3rd, 2021

We are falling in love over and over again with this all-white winter wedding! Caitlyn and Grant are living out all of our fairytale dreams. After both of them were about to call it quits with the infamous dating app, Tinder, their supposed-to-be short date turned into a romantic evening spent getting to know everything about each other. How adorable! During their three storybook-like years of dating, the two traveled all around the world from Cote De Bleu in France to the The Colosseum in Rome. And that’s just the beginning of their love story! Grant knew exactly where he wanted to propose ever since Caitlyn mentioned seeing the Dillion Ice Castles on their upcoming family vacation to Colorado. With the ring in his pocket the entire time, Grant was so nervous walking around the gorgeous ice castles. He quickly pulled Caitlyn to an LED lit wall with icicles dripping off of it for a photo-op and dropped down on one knee. Caitlyn was smiling ear to ear after saying YES!

If this romantic love story wasn’t fairytale enough for you, the details of their all-white winter wedding are bound to win you over! With their modern, elegant and industrial theme, the two knew that the Bethel Rock would be the perfect setting to host their wedding ceremony. After the couple said their I dos, they joined their friends and family in a timeless reception space filled with simplistic decor from AM Linen Rentals and CoHost Rentals. The details we are absolutely swooning over are the all-white, off-the-shoulder satin bridesmaids gowns from Bella Bridesmaids! Scroll on to see modern elegance come to life in this all white winter wedding!

From the bride on her favorite vendor: “The best vendor that Grant and I worked with had to have been the owners and team at Bethel Rock. This venue blew every expectation out of the water. They did everything for us without hesitation. They made the whole wedding planning process a breeze and enjoyable. Bethel Rock excels in communication, hospitality, and planning. They are prompt and easy to work with. Choosing a wedding venue can be one of the hardest choices to make, but for us, this was the easiest choice. We both felt the love and passion Bethel Rock puts into their couples. They are a class act in the wedding industry and we will forever be grateful for the memories we shared with people at this wedding venue.”

Check Out the Modern Farmhouse Style at this Bethel Rock Wedding

Thursday, September 30th, 2021

Ashlee and Kelly’s industrial summer wedding took place in the North Texas countryside at Bethel Rock. This unique wedding venue features an outdoor chapel and an industrial style event space inside, making the perfect mix of traditional and current style for the couple who wants both. Bride Ashlee wore a stunning body-hugging sheath gown with a lace V-neck bodice and topped off her braided ‘do with an elegant crystal tiara! Her bridesmaids coordinated in pale pink and rose-hued long dresses for the altar scene dressed in white floral swag. Ashlee decided to forego a first look with Kelly (and do one with her father instead), but the couple did write their own vows that their videographer recorded separately so that they could watch them when they received their wedding video – how sentimental! The Bethel Rock wedding reception space took on a modern farmhouse vibe with greenery lining the family-style tables set with black metal chairs. This Historic Wedding Venue Is Absolutely Darling!

Thursday, September 23rd, 2021

Ashley Conner and Evan Mayse wed at the historic wedding venue, The Cliff House in Dallas Texas. The lovely venue was decorated with simplistic, vintage-inspired decor and magnificent florals by Dr. Delphinium Events. Beautiful greenery adorned the polished wood stage, with accents of glass candles and a stunning chandelier to tie it all in. Ashley looked radiant, dressed in a modern and sleek minimalist sheath gown. Her braided hair and gold-toned makeup were both done by Tease to Please Hair and Makeup. Early in the day, the bridesmaids were met in the suite with a grand breakfast spread, meanwhile, the guys played a quick game of golf before arriving at the venue. Even though the day was rainy, stunning photographs by Laning Photography were taken at the venue. Ashley says “Our day wouldn’t have been what it was without Laning Photography.” The intimate ceremony was short and sweet, officiated by a dear friend, so the dancing (their favorite part of any celebration) at the reception could begin! Right before the reception, the couple took time to share a sweet, intimate meal, just the two of them – a memory that Ashley says felt as if time stood still. This minimalist wedding is sure inspire you! Keep scrolling for more!

From the bride on her most helpful vendor: “We were so excited for Laning Photography to capture our wedding. Leading up to the wedding they recommended vendors and told us things that they see go well and go poorly. The day of they gave us quite a few pep talks to keep us
calm!

This Trendy Terra Cotta Reception Was the Couple’s Elopement Announcement!

Friday, July 23rd, 2021

For John and Jessica, the ideal wedding was something small from the get-go. So, pre-pandemic, this trendy couple eloped alone in Sedona, Arizona. The two hiked at 4:30 a.m. in the pitch dark to the top of Cathedral Rock and married during the sunrise at 6:30 a.m. Afterward, they held a reception to announce their marriage to family and friends, and we could not be more smitten with this trendy terra cotta reception. Just a heads up, you should probably be prepared to save these inspiring images from Opal & Onyx Photography to your Pinterest boards…

Located at Brik Special Events Venue, Jessica and John planned an industrial, boho-chic party with a ton of ivy and trendy details. But before we get ahead of ourselves, we must mention with the modern terra cotta wedding invitations from Hazelwood Paper Co., replicating the opulent theme for their October announcement day between the pops of teal and calligraphic touch. Upon entrance, a Pinterest-worthy, desert diva picture of the couple’s elopement sets the scene and matches virtually every detail this couple and their vendors implemented. In front of the ivy-infused brick wall, a long rectangular wooden table with pillar candles, terra cotta colored napkins, Estelle colored glasses, mini pampas grass and gold silverware mix together to create a bohemian setting. A “light my fire” neon sign from Warehouse Rose Events hung to the side, adding to all the trendy touches of this bohemian scene. Once the party got started, the bride and groom sat amongst their guests, under party lights, in the boujee-est boho wicker chairs. The bride, Jessica, looked stunning in her long-sleeve gown, heart-shaped earrings, “bride” hair barrette, loose up-do pony and pop of fiery red lipstick. And surprise: the bride herself is a makeup and hair wedding vendor, so she did her own look. Seriously, we could go on and on about this wedding, but there’s no need when you can see for yourself. If you want “Moore,” check out the gallery below, and cheers to the new Mr. and Mrs. Moore!

From the bride on her favorite wedding day memory: “The best memory is my first dance being with our two kids!’

This Bride’s “Something Old” Was Oh-So-Sentimental

Thursday, July 15th, 2021

You can count us in to any sentimental and personal details when it comes to this wedding tradition. Samatha tied her grandfather’s wedding band around her bouquet as her ‘something old.’ According to the bride, “My grandparents were madly in love, and we aspire to have a relationship like theirs. They were completely devoted to each other.” How sweet!

This detail however is only one of many that made Samantha and Jory’s day extra special. Before the ceremony began, Samantha and Jory opted for a first look. They knew they wanted to share that moment together in private. “I slowly tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around with the biggest smile on his face!” Moments like that are what the day is all about!

The couple tied the knot in a romantic and intimate setting at The Laurel with a rocking dance party from LeForce Entertainment following. The dusty blue bridesmaids’ dresses from Bella Bridesmaids were the perfect complement to the blush pink hues from Lush Couture FloralAnother detail that helped ease the newlyweds’ nerves, was that they took dance lessons in preparation for the big day! They were so giddy and excited to finally be able to call each other husband and wife during their first dance. After over five years together, they are finally the Zivin’s! Cheers!

From the bride on her favorite memory: “I’ll never forget the cheers from our friends and family when we kissed in the chapel and were announced husband and wife. I felt like I was floating.”

Destination Wedding to the North Texas Countryside

Monday, July 12th, 2021

Talk about southern charm! Tricia and David had the most elegant, countryside destination wedding in North Texas! Currently residing in California, The Mills’ knew they wanted to slow down from their fast paced life out west and keep things intimate and romantic for their wedding day. For them specifically, that meant traveling to the great state of Texas! By incorporating hints of pale blue, neutral and personalized details, they surely exceeded all of their wedding goals! One significant detail in particular that is especially creative, Tricia had a few of her closest friends and family be her “something blue.”

“I am blessed to have such an amazing group of friends and family. I was not able to have them all in my bridal party however I asked them to be my something blue on my wedding day. I had our florist make them each corsages with blue florals. They were my good luck charms.” How sweet is that! The couple celebrated with sweet treats from Uncle Willie’s Pies and hit the dance floor with LeForce Entertainment. Another detail that was the cherry on top of an exceptional day, was a private last dance to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran. The newlyweds were able to soak in every last second of their special day and reflect on all the fun that was had. Overall, Tricia said that their wedding was a true reflection of them as a couple. That’s what it is all about! And thanks to Megan Kay Photography, they can reminisce on the day forever. The Mills charming, countryside soiree surely was one for the books. Cheers to the happy couple!

From the bride on why she loves The Brides of North Texas: “I love how Brides of North Texas made it easy to find local vendors. It made planning a destination wedding extremely convenient. I found our wedding venue while browsing through the magazine, and I just knew it was THE place. I also love all the styled shoots and real weddings they showcase. It gave me so many ideas and wedding inspo. I used it throughout my year of wedding planning. Once my wedding was over, I used the magazine to dry and press flowers from my wedding bouquet which I framed. And now the magazine is nicely put away in our box of wedding keepsakes so I can cherish it forever.”

A Modern Venue with a Boho Twist

Friday, July 9th, 2021

When you want to combine a modern venue and boho aesthetic, the Nasher Sculpture Center is the place to do it. Emily and Andrew’s dream wedding mixed two different styles into an intimate celebration that reflected the couple flawlessly. After years of working in the wedding industry, Emily knew that planning her own would be different than anything she had planned before. She said, “It was both an eye opening and rewarding experience. My knowledge in weddings and events helped tremendously, but it is a whole new world planning a wedding for your own loved ones.”

Nasher Sculpture Center’s garden is where the couple said “I do” under the venue’s iconic metal sculpture. Light wood Chiavari chairs and white florals with greenery lined the aisle. The reception was nothing less than a dream with dusty rose and pink tablescapes mixed with gold furniture accents, giving the garden an elevated boho look. Andrew and Emily’s vision was to create an atmosphere that spoke to our personal style but welcomed guests to dance the night away! It was an evening filled with vivacious energy that could be felt throughout the entire garden. To end the night, horn players escorted the couple out of the venue where guests popped white flutter-fetti as a send-off. Take a look below at the moments captured to get a glimpse into the this modern boho wedding. Cheers to the Johnsens!

From the bride on her favorite memory: “One of the most special memories of the evening is when Andrew and I got on stage with the band, and he sang ‘Piano Man’ by Billy Joel. At first we were on stage, then all of our friends and family locked arm-in-arm in a circle on the dance floor and every guest was singing the song in unison. We hopped off stage, stood in the middle of the dance floor, and Andrew’s family joined us. We embraced one another and danced. I was overwhelmed with joy and love in this moment and truly felt blessed to not only marry my best friend, but to have such wonderful friends and family.”
